"Alex, this is Asuka. There is trouble on the Geo Front. Repeat, this is Asuka calling Alex. Hey great warrior of the stars, pick up all ready! We got a situation here!"
     Asuka Langly Sohryu frantically pushed the button on her communicator that was a direct link to the one belonging to Alex West, aka Warrior Saturn, but to no avail. "Damnit," she cursed, "I'm out here in Unit 02, by myself, with absolutely NO help from Shinji, Rei, and Touji, and I'm getting my butt kicked royally by these damn wannabe Evas!" she added, driving her progressive saber into the chest of one of the Eva 05 series. "ALEX, WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!"

     Alexander West was back in his hometown of Newport, New Hampshire, the midway point of his third year of college finished. His mom sent him on an errand that would take him about an hour or so to complete, since he would need to drive to a neighboring town for the items on the list.
     "Let's see," he said as he drove to his house in the family station wagon, "I got the kahlua, the ice cream, the chips, the dip, the music, and the wine coolers. Gee, I hope I got enough food," he added, looking over his shoulder at all the bags of groceries. On the seat next to him rested the coup de gras of his outing - the packages his mother had sent to a friend's house in the neighboring town so that a certain snoop wouldn't get into them.
     "I guess that's all I need for my home coming. It doesn't seem that long ago that the semester began, and now it's over. Pretty soon I'll be done with my time at the university and I'll be out in the real world." he mused as he drove on. At one point he popped a cassette of some anime music into the car stereo and cranked up the volume, grooving to the tunes of the opening song to Fushigi Yuugi. Several minutes later he pulled up in front of his house. From the moment he stepped out of the car he felt a sense of foreboding in the atmosphere surrounding his home.
     "This doesn't feel right," he said as he walked up the steps, "I know something is wrong. I just wish I knew what," he added as he opened the door. The scene that confronted him was more terrifying than anything he had seen up to that point in his life. In the middle of the living room stood a wizard cloaked in jet black garments, his hair of a deep brown color in a punk style. When he turned his head Alex looked into eyes of red, which caused a cold shiver to run up and down his spine. Around this wizard were the bodies of the party goers, their throats slashed, blood seeping deeper and deeper into the rug and upholstery.
     "What have you done?!" Alex exclaimed when he saw the gruesome scene, all the color leaving his face. He grabbed his stomach in an attempt to fight the wave of nausea that swept over him.
     "I have killed all those you love and hold dear," the dark wizard said, "What are you going to do about it?"
     Alex surveyed the scene of carnage. Mom, Dad, Adderson, Derek, his friend and his family had all been killed by the bastard. He felt his anger grow and come to a boil.
     "I shall avenge them," Alex said, closing his eyes, 'Everyone, I know you can still hear me, Mom and Dad included. Nobody could defeat you that easily so I want you to lend me your strength.'
     On everybody's foreheads glowed a symbol of one planet or another. The most surprising were on the heads of his parents. On his mom's forehead blazed the symbol for the planet Saturn. On his dad's forehead was a symbol for the stars, much like the one he himself carried as Sailor Star Dancer.
     'So that's how I got my powers,' he thought, "Mom was a Saturnian princess and Dad was a prince from the house of the stars. I understand now."
     As he spoke a double symbol formed on his forehead, the symbol for Saturn inside that of a star. He held his hand to the sky and shouted, "Saturn Star Power TRANSFORM!"
     Wave after wave of star energy washed over his body, burning away his clothes and replacing them with the undersuit and armor, with a few small improvements. He finished his transformation with his arms crossed before his body, his eyes open, his face devoid of all emotion.
     "You... you're.... " the dark wizard stammered.
     "I am an armor clad defender of justice," Alex said, "issued forth from the planet Saturn, a warrior of darkness sent to protect the light. On behalf of the planet Saturn I will defeat you. I'm Star Warrior Saturn!"
     The wizard turned blue from fright. He had done the one thing that Black X had told him not to do, and that was to do anything to allow one of the warriors to gain their full power. The wizard turned and made a hasty retreat by phasing through the wall. Saturn teleported outside, appearing in the path of the wizard.
     "Just where do you think you're going?!" he asked, giving the wizard a death stare, "WE'RE not done here just yet."
     "But... but... but..." the wizard stammered moments before Saturn's fist collided with his face. The wizard was propelled across street and against a large pine tree, his back taking the brunt of the blow and forcing the air from his lungs. As the wizard crumpled forward Saturn followed up with a sixteen hit combo attack, consisting of punches and kicks with the finale being the Blizzard Fist attack. The wizard wound up being put on ice.
     "And now to finish you," Saturn said, taking the legendary sword of fervor from the scabbard on his back. He leapt into the air, his shadow taking on a different form altogether. "Winged Angel of Death!"
     A tornado of light and wind erupted from the enchanted blade, striking the block of ice the wizard was frozen in and shattering the ice and the wizard. The attack continued until nothing remained of the dark wizard, at which point Saturn broke off and landed. He teleported back into his house to confront the gruesome scene inside.
     "My friends, mom, dad, I'm sorry that this had to happen to you. I will make it up to you now," he said, reaching beneath his armor and taking not one, but five gold rings, which he joined together to form a chain. He powered up his chaos emeralds to maximum energy output and began his power.
     'Spirits of light, break free from the darkness. Come before me and deliver my friends and my family back from the icy prison of death. It is not their time to go so please bring them back to me,' he said in his mind, the power rings glowing a brilliant gold as the energy flowed into his body, "SATURN LIVING DEAD REBIRTH!"
     Waves of white light flooded the small house, healing the wounds to the bodies, restoring life where there was none, and bringing the people back from the brink of destruction. Once the power had run its course and everyone was back to some semblance of normal, the power rings melted, the chaos emeralds shattered one after the other, Saturn's transformation reversing and a very exhausted Alex pitching forward, wrapped in nothing but a mass of violet ribbons.
     "Oh my," Mrs. West exclaimed, "what happened?"
     "The last I remember a dark wizard appeared," Adderson said, recoiling from the memory.
     "This is almost as bad as when Unit 08 was torn to pieces," Derek said, wincing at the thought of the painful memory.
     "Poor kid," Lina said, "he's been through so much lately. The one day we were planning on relaxing and this happens."
     "Why Lina, I do declare you have a heart after all," Zelgadis said. Lina turned on Zel with a look that said 'Don't push it buster'. "Yeah, I agree with you," he added after the glare that Lina gave him, "he deserves a day to rest."
     "There isn't going to be any rest for the weary," Andrew said, putting away his communicator, "Just got an urgent message from Asuka in Tokyo. They are under attack by the army there and need help."
     "Asuka," Alex sighed as he rolled over, "she... needs our help."
     "You're not going anywhere," Amelia said, gently pressing on Alex's shoulders to keep him down, "at least not until Miss Sylphiel has a chance to heal you."
     "There's no time," Alex said, sitting up so suddenly that Amelia fell back and landed on her butt. He stood up, the ribbons barely hiding anything. He raised his hand to the sky, a violet aura surrounding him as he shouted, "Saturn Star Power TRANSFORM!"
     Silence followed as his transformation failed to materialize. "I.... I'm powerless."
     "You're not powerless.... you just need a healing spell," Sylphiel said.
     "But Asuka...."
     "We can take care of Asuka," Adderson said as he, Derek, and Andrew took their transformation pens from their pockets, "Universe Rebirth Power TRANSFORM!"
     "Pluto Star Power TRANSFORM!"
     "Orion Star Power TRANSFORM!"
     A flash of yellow - green light brought forth Warrior Universe. Another flash of light, this one of garnate red, brought forth Warrior Pluto. A third flash of light, this one of forest green and brown, brought forth Warrior Orion.
     "We'll go and help Asuka the best we can," Orion said, "After all, we have Evangelion Units 07, 08, and 12."
     "Don't be forgetting about Unit 10," Drew said as he changed into his plug suit in a flash of golden light, "We have four Eva Units which can fight."
     "We'll go and help Asuka out," Pluto said as he, Orion, Universe, and Drew phased between. Once they were gone Alex consented to a healing spell.

     When the four emerged from between the scene before them was grisly. The series 05 Evas were huddled around Unit 02 like a pack of vultures, bits and pieces of the red juggernaut in their mouths.
     "I feel like I'm gonna be sick," Adderson said when he saw this.
     "Asuka?" Andrew said, "Is she... is she.... is she..."
     "We don't know until we kick some butt," Drew said, pulling out a remote control of some sort. He pressed a button and a nearby mountain split open, Unit 10 emerging from beneath. Drew phased between for a moment, reappearing inside his entry plug. Once he synched up with his Eva the gold and blue juggernaut stepped forth, unencumbered by an umbilical cord. From the left weapons pod came a large plasma rifle, which the Eva took in hand and aimed above the series 05 Evas. A moment later it pulled the trigger, sending an ion pulse into the air above the huddled mass, which exploded and scattered the birds of prey from their quarry. The scene of Unit 02 with bits and pieces of insides hanging out was not the most appealing thing in the world to see.
     "Oh my word..... " Adderson said when he saw the mess of metal and organic matter, "Is Asuka still in there?"
     "Yeah I'm still in here you dolt!" Asuka's voice rang from their communicators, "I may be in pain, but I'm not out of it yet!"
     "Asuka, don't move," Andrew said, "Help is on the way."
     "Unit 07 is on its way," Adderson said, striking a stance from which Evangelion Unit 07 grew. He teleported into the entry plug and logged on, the massive black and gold juggernaut's three eyes glowing as it came online.
     "Unit 08 is also on its way," Derek said, striking a similar stance from which Evangelion Unit 08 grew and formed. Derek teleported into the entry plug and logged on, the garnate red and black behemoth's eyes glowing as power flowed through its body.
     "Unit 12 is gonna be with you in a moment," Andrew said, also striking a stance from which Evangelion Unit 12 grew and formed. Andrew teleported into the entry plug and logged in, the brown, gold, and forest green giant's four eyes glowing as it powered up.
     "I don't care what you do," Asuka said as she tried to maintain the little bit of an AT Field that remained, "Just get me outta here!"
     One of the series 05 Evas descended from the sky and an incredible rate, diving right for the crippled Unit 02 with a large spear in hand. Drew immediately recognized the weapon.
     "That's the Lance of Loginus," he exclaimed, "Askua's history if we don't stop it!"
     "I'm on it," Andrew said as Unit 12 phased between, reappearing between the spear and Unit 02 a split second later, Unit 12's AT Field powered to max. Andrew incorporated his own AT Field into that of his Eva, creating a multi helix field which took the brunt of the blow before cracking. The series 05 Eva which broke through the field took a bite out of Unit 12's right shoulder, causing Andrew to cry out in pain.
     "They're cannibals," Drew said, feeding an ion blast to one of the series 05 Evas, sending it down for the moment. The damaged Eva stood up a moment later, though, a strange looking tongue emerging from its 'lips' and licking them in glee. Drew winced a little when he saw this in disgust.
     "Time to drive my point home," Derek said as Unit 08's progressive claw slammed through the chest of the series 05 Eva that was attacking him, tearing the Eva in half. Blood sprayed everywhere as the torso separated from the legs.
     "And here comes the coup de gras," Adderson said, hurling Unit 07's progressive axe into the fray. The blade spun through the air, slashing into the remaining series 05 Evas before returning to Unit 07's hand. The four Evangelion units moved in around the damaged Unit 02 in order to protect it from further attack.
     "Asuka, how are you doing?" Derek asked.
     "I feel like hell, how do you think I feel?!" Asuka snarled, "Parts of my Eva have been digested by those..... THINGS, and I'm in a lot of frickin pain right now!"
     "And those things are coming back for round two," Adderson said as the damaged series 05 Evas regained their feet and took wing once again. 'Alex, you had better hurry up and get here because there isn't much time remaining.'

     Meanwhile, Alex was undergoing treatment for the shock to his system from the transformation into Star Warrior Saturn. At that point in time Sylphiel, Zelgadis, Amelia, and Lina were working on a MAJOR Recovery spell, which enveloped Alex in a field of pure white light. About midway though the casting of the spell Alex's thoughts became turbulent as images from the battle field halfway across the planet came to him.
     "Asuka!" he cried out, startling everyone, "ASUKA!!!"
     "What's going on out there?" Jason asked, punching the direct link to the other four Eva pilots.
     "You do NOT want to know," Drew's voice said.
     "It's carnage here," Derek said.
     "It's disgusting," Adderson said, "I think I'm gonna be ill soon enough."
     "And this coming from somebody who doesn't get sick that easily," Andrew said, "on the up side, we know how strong our Evas are, how strong the series 05 Evas are, and Asuka is still alive, but in a hell of a lot of pain."
     "Tell her I'm on my way," Alex said, sitting up the best he could in his suspended state.
     "You're not healed yet," Zelgadis said, "In this state the best you can do is summon a Dragon Slave, and not even a powerful one."
     "Asuka's my friend, as are the others," Alex said, "I'm not going to sit around when they're in trouble. If they die out there I will never forgive myself!"
     Lina sighed. "It's no use arguing with you," she said, "but you need to be at full power in order to be able to summon the highest level of your powers, and in order for that to happen you need us to finish healing you."
     "Such touching words coming from you, little Miss Stubborn," Naga taunted. Lina turned blue a moment later.
     "You guys teleport to the battleground," Fam said, "Ihrie, Naga, and I can finish the healing spell."
     "No way, this is my fight and my fight alone," Alex said, standing up and hoisting his right hand to the sky. His ring reappeared on his hand as he shouted, "STAR CRYSTAL POWER TRANSFORM!"
     Ribbons of energy unfurled from his ring, wrapping around his right and left wrists to form his gauntlets. From the jewels in the gauntlets came a wave of flames, which wrapped around him and formed his armor for his Super form. He finished his transformation in the same pose that he finished in the first time.
     "Now to go and help my friends," he said as he leapt into the air and phased between. 'Please let them still be alive when I get there.'
     "Hold on there young man" Mrs. West's voice said, cutting through the air like a knife. Alex materialized fully in the living room of his house. "You're not going anywhere until you have a hi - potion and an ether or an elixir."
     "Damn I feel numb," Alex said, smacking his forehead, "I forgot about those."
     "So did we," Zelgadis, Sylphiel, and Amelia said, all falling over.
     "We could have saved our power for something important," Zelgadis moaned.
     "We could have destroyed those damn Evas and had dinner by now," Lina sighed.
     "Here you go," Fam said, giving Alex a bottle of a brownish liquid which bubbled and glowed sort of blue - green in the bottle, "one elixir, fresh from the fridge."
     Alex popped the cork and downed the contents in a matter of seconds, feeling the power flow through his body, refreshing him, healing him, and enlivening him. He thanked Fam, kissed his mom and dad on the cheeks, formed a time - space bubble around himself, Lina, Sylphiel, Amelia, and Zelgadis, and phased between with the four Slayers in tow.
     "You think they'll be all right?" Mr. West asked Ihrie.
     "I know for a fact that they'll be ok," Ihrie said confidently, "Lina's a powerful sorceress, Amelia can take care of herself, Sylphiel is their resident white magic specialist, and I made sure Zelgadis took a LOT of elixirs with him just in case."
     "I hope they come back ok Ihrie," Fam said, her ears perking up.
     "What is it Fam?" Naga asked, noticing how the Wiggin was acting.
     "Trouble," Ihrie said, taking a sword down from a nearby wall and brandishing it. Mr. and Mrs. West retreated to the kitchen as Ihrie, Fam, Naga, and some of the sailor soldiers and warriors transformed and exited the house to face whatever evil was out there. Before the house stood a man in black armor, his dark hair close cut to his head. A pair of black angel wings flared out behind him.
     "Is this the place of the West party?" the man asked, forming an energy sphere.
     "We're in trouble, aren't we Ihrie?" Fam asked before casting a major protection spell.
     "You said it," Ihrie said, praying that her curse really was broken and she wouldn't turn into a mouse in the heat of battle. 'Alex, Lina, Zelgadis, and the others has better get back here soon. I don't know how long we'll be able to hold out against this guy.' she thought as the energy blast struck the barrier, causing it to vibrate.

     Alex and the four Slayers were belched free from time - space in a rather rude manner, dumping them in the midst of a great battle of the Evangelion Units. The five stood in awe as the Series 05 Evas fought like there was no tomorrow, all in varying states of destruction and disrepair. Sylphiel gagged and covered her mouth when one of the Series 05 Evas fell near them, brain matter spilling from the crushed brain case, blood oozing from the wound. The injured Eva stood up a moment later to recommence an attack on Unit 07, which had taken some damage.
     "No," Alex said, looking around at the varying injuries to the good Evas. Unit 02 was really out of commission. Unit 07 had several bites taken out of one arm and the back. Unit 08 was missing part of one arm and had several scratch marks in the chest area. Unit 10 was fighting valiantly with one arm, the other one missing. Chunks were missing from the chest and back as well, and part of the brain case was missing as well. Unit 12 had taken severe damage, a large slash in the right shoulder, the left arm torn clean off, and assorted slashes to the legs.
     "This is horrible," Amelia said, fighting the urge to retch.
     "Alex, if you wish to lose control, go right ahead," Lina said, unclipping her talismans and giving them to Alex, "Use these to do whatever it is you want."
     "You keep them," Alex said, his eyes cold and dark. He reached beneath his armor and took five power rings, which he linked together before linking them around his left gauntlet. Under his breath he chanted the boost spell, his chaos emeralds and the power rings glowing as he powered up.
     "Alex, just what are you planning on doing?" Zelgadis asked as Alex walked onto the battle field, his star sword in hand, the blade glowing. A moment later a wave of darkness began to wash over the blade. "Oh dear God, he's not going to do what I think he's going to do?!"
     "If you're thinking of the Giga Slave, I believe he plans on casting that," Lina said, her voice unemotional, "he once told me that he stands up for his friends and his family, and anybody who messes with them gets a one way ticket to the emergency room. He may not look that strong, but inside beats the heart of a true warrior, and that is where he gets his strength from."
     "How sweet," Amelia said, "kind of like what Mister Zelgadis and Mister Gourry did when I was injured when we fought Gaav."
     "Yeah, sorta like that," Lina said as a Series 05 Eva noticed their presence and proceeded to fire off several volleys of energy beams, which met Sylphiel's protection spell and were absorbed.
     "We need a big spell right away," Sylphiel said, "my barrier can't hold out against this torture for long."
     From the center of the battle field they could hear Alex shouting the spell at the top of his lungs, which sent chills up and down their spines.
     "Darkness beyond blackest pitch, deeper than the deepest night. King of darkness, a lord of nightmares, who shines like gold upon a swirling sea of chaos. I call upon thee and swear myself to thee. Let the fools who stand before me be destroyed by the power you and I possess."
     The accumulation of dark energy was visible from where they stood. Lina was paralyzed by the sheer amount of energy Alex had managed to utilize for the spell. Sylphiel paled a little bit when she felt the darkness of the area. Zelgadis and Amelia both prayed that Alex would survive the blast.
     "Sword, accept this darkness and obey my command. Giga...... SLAVE!!!"
     Alex's words echoed across the geofront as he leapt to the sky and swung the sword of light downward, releasing the accumulation of dark energy. A massive energy wave tore through the geofront, leveling the landscape, destroying anything evil that got in its path, and pretty much turning what remained of Tokyo 3 and Central Dogma into a large blast crater. From the chaos emerged the good, albeit a bit toasted, Eva units. Alex floated from the chaos a moment later, exhausted of his power for the second time today. When the smoke cleared, though, the Series 05 Evas were still standing, though they weren't so shiny and white any more.
     "What the hell are they made of?!" Asuka exclaimed.
     "How in the nine hells could they survive a magically enhanced, chaos emerald and power ring enhanced Giga Slave?!" Alex and Lina both exclaimed at the same time.
     "We're seriously screwed, aren't we?" Andrew asked.
     "Not yet," Alex said, levitating off of the ground, his armor glowing. A moment later the glow expanded and solidified into Evangelion Unit 09. Alex synched up with his Eva, powered up, and immediately expanded the AT Field on multi - helix mode to give his friends time for their Evas to regenerate. Unfortunately the Series 05 Evas were the impatient type and began to tear through the layers of the AT Field. As they did this Alex screamed in pain as the layers of his mind were torn apart.
     "Now I know what an angel goes through when their AT Field is torn to ribbons," he said between screams, "but nobody messes with my friends and gets away with it! NOBODY!!"
     An energy wave radiated from the Eva, passing through the AT Fields and striking the Series 05 Evas, knocking them from their feet for a moment.
     "Alex, is this true?" Asuka said, "do you care about us that much?"
     "Don't spoil the moment," Derek interrupted, "as long as he stays angry we have a chance to regenerate."
     "Lina, think I can cast a Ragna Blade through the Eva?" Alex asked over the small transceiver that Lina had in her cel phone.
     "It's possible. Very risky, since you could blow the entire power system out, but it's possible."
     Without another word Unit 09 stepped forward, stepping through the AT Fields like nothing, yet the AT Fields remained in place. In the entry plug Alex channeled his powers into the body of the Eva, centering them in the palms of the hands as he chanted a spell.
     "Lord of the dreams that terrify, sword of the cold and darkness. Free yourself from the heaven's bonds. Unite with my body, unite with my power, and let's walk the road to destruction together. Power that can smash even the souls of the Gods. Ragna BLADE!!"
     The black blade of the Lord of Nightmares formed in the hands of Unit 09, larger than any had ever seen it before. Unit 09 leapt into the air, the blade above its head. As it came down it slashed downward, catching one of the Series 05 Evas in the head before cleaving it in half. Alex grinned in smug satisfaction as blood and guts sprayed everywhere, since he knew that nothing could regenerate after an attack like that. Two of the other Series 05 Evas moved in to attack from the air, but Alex slashed at them as well, cleaving them in half easily, more blood oozing over the violet and black skin of Unit 09. Unfortunately Alex missed the Series 05 Eva which was coming from behind, or he would have been ready for the blade which slashed into the back of his Eva, sending waves of pain and nausea through his body. He managed to turn Unit 09 to block the remaining blows with the Ragna Blade, which fizzled out moments later. Several more blows fell on him, slashes appearing on the skin of the chest, arms, and stomach of Unit 09.
     Inside the entry plug Alex was fighting to stay conscious as pain tore through his body. He kept his focus on one thing - pay back. Pay back for what they did to Asuka. Pay back for what they did to his friends. Pay back for what they were doing to him.
     "Get ready for the pay back asswipe because it's coming at you from the pavement," he said as Unit 09 dissolved, leaving him floating in space with his cape billowing behind him. The Series 05 Eva looked at Alex with disgust and swatted him through the air and into the ground at Lina's feet.
     "Alex, can we fight him now?" Lina asked, afraid that Alex was going to over exert himself with the spell casting and wind up killing himself.
     "Suit yourself," Alex said as Zelgadis tossed him an elixir, which he downed in one gulp before chucking the bottle against an AT Field, "I'm gonna wait out for a bit."
     "Time to strike with the hammer of justice!" Amelia said, her energy hammer forming in her hands. The hammer took on a different shape, one of a 300 Megaton hammer, which is incredibly big compared to her small figure. She leapt into the air and swung, the hammer catching one of the Series 05 Evas upside the head. On the follow through the head broke away from the rest of the body before sailing through the air and into a nearby lake. On her way down another Series 05 Eva swung its blade towards her, but it was blocked by Zelgadis' sword and one of Sylphiel's protection spells. Lina powered up her talismans and let loose a Dragon Slave, which caught the Eva in the chest and tore through it, decimating the giant mecha and part of the country side. The remaining Series 05 Evas moved in around the group, ready to make sure nobody escaped alive.
     "You leave them alone!" Adderson shouted as Unit 07 disintegrated, leaving him floating in mid air. He took on a different composure than usual, an energy sphere forming between his palms. A large bubble of high pressure formed around one of the Series 05 Evas a moment later. As Adderson crushed the sphere the Eva's body was compressed until, with a sickening SPLUT blood oozed from every joint and the Eva went as flat as a pancake.
     "Damnit, we can't keep this up much longer," Andrew said as the Series 05 Evas turned their attention back towards the other Evangelion units.
     "Are they part Mazoku?" Zelgadis asked, casting a Ra Tilt on one of the Series 05 Evas, which had no effect.
     "I'm not sure," Asuka said as the Series 05 Evas began another assault on their Evas, "but unless we get some help soon I'm gonna SCREAM!!"
     "Don't do that Asuka," a familiar male voice said, "we're on our way with some secret weapons."
     "Yeah Asuka," another familiar voice, this one female, said, "two super secret Evangelion units."
     "Shinji? Wonder Girl?!" Asuka said in amazement, "About bloody time I heard from you!"
     "Don't forget about me," another male voice, this one a little gruffer than Shinji's, said.
     "I couldn't forget about you Touji. But right now we're getting POUNDED!"
     As Asuka bellowed that two towers emerged from the ground, each opening to reveal an Evangelion Unit with a silver body and black and violet on the legs, arms and neck. One had a face like Unit 00, with a single eye, the other had a face like Unit 02 with four eyes. Other than the faces the Evas were identical.
     "What in the world?" Andrew asked, Unit 12 disintegrating around him.
     "Meet Projects MASA and MUNE," Ritsuko's voice said over the communicator, "other known as Units 04a and 06."
     "Ritsuko worked super hard on these new Evas," Misato's voice said, "they're incredibly powerful and are almost identical and there are some other goodies she hasn't told me about yet."
     "Now those are a secret," Ritsuko said. Everyone groaned.
     "Let's see what these things can do," Shinji said as Unit 04a took out a progressive lance and charged it with energy. In a flash of motion MASA hurled the lance through the air. The lance impaled one of the remaining Series 05 Evas before the energy was dispersed. The Eva detonated a moment later, blood, guts, and bits of armor splattering everywhere. The remaining Series 05 Evas, though, moved from attacking the Slayers and Warriors to attacking Units MASA and MUNE.
     "Let's show these wannabe's what we're capable of," Rei shouted as Unit MUNE pulled out a progressive whip and lashed it about. The whip glowed with energy as Rei shouted, "Call me queen!" before she cracked it. The whip wrapped around the neck of one of the Series 05 Evas, breaking it and tearing the head off. The remaining Series 05 Evas, or what remained of them, regrouped, pulled out some nasty looking weaponry, grew some even nastier weaponry on their arms. The now improved Series 05 Evas took to the sky and began attacking Units MASA and MUNE. At that point the twin Evas put their progressive weapons away and leapt into the air. In a flash of light the pair of Evas combined into one larger Eva.
     "Meet Unit MASAMUNE," Misato's voice said, "capable of finishing some of these wannabe Evangelions."
     Unit MASAMUNE drew a pair of large samurai swords and leapt into the air again, sprouting angel - like energy wings. In a flurry of motion Unit MASAMUNE sliced the remaining Series 05 Evas to ribbons, bits and pieces floating down from the sky at regular intervals as blood rained down as well. Sylphiel, Alex, and Zelgadis created a barrier to prevent being drenched in blood and gore. A moment later Unit MASAMUNE landed and split into Units MASA and MUNE. The barrier was dropped, entry plugs were ejected, injured pilots were treated to free healing spells, and explanations were given. Asuka was helped out of Unit 02, which fell to pieces the minute she was free.
     "Well, we defeated an enemy that had it in for us," Touji said, "YEAH!!!"
     "How long have projects MASA and MUNE been in production?" Alex asked.
     "For a time," Shinji said, "Ritsuko pulled everything together at the last possible minute when Asuka needed to be saved and you guys were fighting those things."
     "They're part demon," Rei said, "demon mixed with angel and technology."
     "That's messed up," Drew said, "a dangerous mix at the best."
     "They wanted an Eva that would go rogue at will," Ritsuko's voice said, "and they tossed in a regeneration factor which really threw us for a loop."
     "They found the mix that would also want meat," Derek said, shuddering when he recalled the moment he first saw Unit 02's insides hanging out.
     "We beat them in the name of justice!" Amelia exclaimed, giving a victory sign. Lina sighed. Zelgadis blushed. Sylphiel looked puzzled. Everyone else sweat dropped.
     "Shouldn't we get back home?" Zelgadis asked.
     "That's right," Andrew said, "we still have a party to give!"
     A communicator beeped a moment later, the owner, which was Adderson, answering the call.
     "Adderson, guys, it's Fam. We are in serious trouble! There's some sort of wizard or something here and he's trying to kill us!"
     "Not again," Alex grumbled, preparing to teleport between, "this time I'm gonna make sure we finish that damn dark wizard!"
     "It's more than a wizard," Ihrie's voice said, "there are a lot of people in red here and they're working on rounding everyone up."
     "There's also a large craft in the sky above the town," Naga's voice cut in, "and they're teleporting the people up there. Wha...... NO!!!" The communicator went dead a moment later.
     "They had better not hurt my parents," Alex grumbled, his eyes beginning to glow blood red.
     "His eyes are doing that strange glowing thing again," Sylphiel whispered to Lina. Lina looked at Sylphiel before back handing her across the face for thinking she could do that.
     "I'm going with them," Asuka said, standing and drawing her laser saber and chain gun.
     "I'm going as well," Rei said, phasing between only to reappear inside the entry plug to Unit 10 in Drew's lap.
     "Be careful," Misato said over the communicator, "Shinji, Touji, bring MASA and MUNE home. The rest of you be careful and good luck."
     As soon as Misato broke transmission Alex and the other Warriors began to cast a bubble when Alex's sword began to glow. He took it from the scabbard moments before the blade slimmed and extended. The hilt and guard changed as well, a small blade forming at the end of the hilt and the guard turning into a 4 pointed shuriken. A handle formed in the back of the blade as well. Alex looked at the new sword in amazement, turning the blade in his hands.
     "That is definitely one of the ancient swords of light," Lina said when she saw the transformation, "The one that is more special than the others, for when the user reaches a certain level of experience the weapon will upgrade and evolve into a better weapon."
     "But what is it?" Amelia asked as she looked at the sword.
     "It's called a no-dachi," Zelgadis said, "and a special one at that, since the legendary Sword of Halo is a No-dachi."
     "You heard Alex communicating with Sage again, didn't you?" Lina asked. Zel blushed a moment later.
     "Well, we're now going to go kick some butt!" Alex said, resheathing his sword. He and the other Warriors then cast a bubble around the group, sending them between. Their destination was the West residence.

     Alex and the others phased out of between before his house. When their senses had fully readjusted they could see hundreds of people clad in red and black jumpsuits running around on the hilltop. Lina and Zelgadis immediately drew their weapons and Alex drew his new No-dachi which formed when his Star Sword evolved moments earlier. The people apparently hadn't expected visitors, since the moment they spotted the small group of Warriors they trained their rifles on them.
     "Well, it looks like we missed some," a tall woman with curly blond hair said, "and judging from your appearances you're some of the best."
     "You could say that," Asuka said from behind Derek.
     "Just who the hell are you?" a tall man with short brown hair asked. That was the cue for them to launch into their introductions.
     "Brought forth from Saturn, the planet of darkness, a warrior to protect the light. I'm Warrior Saturn."
     "From Pluto, a warrior to fight to protect the stream of time. I'm Warrior Pluto."
     "Summoned forth by the call of the hunt, a warrior of the stars. I'm Warrior Orion."
     "Also from the stars, Warrior Universe fights for justice."
     "A sorceress supreme whose name coincides with mass destruction, Lina Inverse."
     "A true hero who fights for justice, Amelia Will Tesela Seyruun."
     "A priestess who will kick the butts of those who hurt dear Gourry, Sylphiel Nells Raada."
     "Well known mystic swordsman Zelgadis Greywords."
     "An auburn haired angel with an attitude, Asuka Langly Sohryu."
     From behind the house appeared Unit 10, with Drew and Rei in the pilot's seat. The Eva roared a blood curdling roar, which didn't even phase the people, who opened fire on the group. Blue beams of light cut through the air, the smell of burning ozone filling the area. The Slayers and Warriors dodged the shots with Lina, Amelia, and Zelgadis recovering first and retaliating.
     "BURST RONDO!"
     Multiple mini fireballs filled the air, mixing with the energy beams and forming a wide area of crossfire. Asuka opened fire with her chain gun, knocking guns from the hands of several people. A high pitched whine filled the air as several large beams of plasma struck the ground before Lina, Zelgadis, Amelia, and Asuka, throwing them from their feet. Several more beams stuck Unit 10 in the chest, burning holes in the armor. A moment later the source of the beams appeared when a large craft phased in above the town.
     "Holy crap!" Andrew said, "That could result in trouble."
     "It all ready has," Alex said, "they got our friends and my parents!"
     "According to my readings the craft is about half a mile from the ground," Drew said, "meaning it is somewhat out of conventional reach."
     "If you blow up the craft, you'll blow up everyone who we captured," the blond woman chuckled, "so surrender to us."
     "Get serious," Asuka said, "we surrender to nobody, especially slimy human wannabe aliens like you!"
     "I see your tongue is sharp," the man said, suddenly appearing before Asuka. He back handed her across the face, hurling her twenty feet through the air into the side of the house.
     "Low blow pal," Lina said, performing a drill kick to the man's back which sent him hurtling into a nearby tree. A brunette woman appeared behind Lina and blasted her in the shoulder with a rifle, sending the sorceress to the ground holding a smoking and bleeding wound.
     "Gravity Cutter!"
     A pair of energy blades sailed over Lina's head, one striking the woman in the upper part of the left arm, the other missing and cutting through a tree, which tipped and fell on top of the woman as she phased back in.
     "You shall pay for kidnapping my friends and family!" Alex screamed as he wrapped his arms around the blonde's waist from behind. He performed a back hand spring with the woman in tow, slamming her head into the pavement as he came back up.
     "You little bastard!" the woman growled, holding her head, "That really HURT!" she then pulled out a radio and said, "Send in the Titans!!"
     Several large mechs appeared in the woods behind the people, all heavily armored and armed with plasma cannons of varying shapes and sizes. Unit 10 vaulted the house and landed before one of the mechs, driving its fist through the chest armor and out the back. Unit 10 then hurled the lifeless body through the air and into a second mech, the impact causing both to detonate. The remaining Titans, though, took careful aim and fired several salvos at the Eva, all striking the AT Field and harmlessly detonating. The mechs upgraded their programming, rocket launchers appearing from the shoulders, hips, and lower legs as well as the forearms.
     "Oh crap," Drew said inside the entry plug, "I don't think my AT Field can withstand another assault like the first, and I know it won't stand up against all of those rockets."
     The mechs took that moment to open fire with everything they had. Through two miracles the Eva survived the blast without a scratch. The smoke cleared to reveal Andrew and.... Kaworu? Both were suspended in mid air, their AT Fields extended to maximum and forming a Multi helix field.
     "What in the world?!" Asuka exclaimed when she saw Kaworu, "The seventeenth angel.... I mean the fifth child... is back."
     "Let them have it with everything you have," Kaworu said, "I'll protect you."
     From behind Unit 10 stepped Units 07, 08, and 09, all battle ready. Andrew descended and a moment later Unit 12 appeared. The five Evangelion Units powered up all their weapon systems and took aim at the Titan robots. Missile launchers rose from the shoulders of Unit 09 and particle beam cannons emerged from the forearms. Unit 12 summoned a progressive bow, a quiver of energy arrows extending from the right hip and thigh. Unit 10 powered up its particle beam rifle, a set of rocket launchers extending from the hips of the blue and gold giant. Unit 07 charged its progressive axe with energy, the blade expanding to become a mighty battle axe. Finally, Unit 08 charged the progressive blades with energy, giving them the power to create energy shockwaves. The Titan robots took one step back, but moved forward at break neck speed a moment later, catching all of the Evas and the pilots off guard.
     "More power is needed," Kaworu said as he struggled to maintain the multi helix AT Field on his own. A moment later Unit 11 formed around him, the color changing to gray, neon green, and orange.
     "That's Alex's other Eva," Rei said, startling Drew.
     "He did a good thing by giving it to Kaworu," Ritsuko's voice said over the communicator, "Now you can fight those things properly."
     Unit 11 leapt into the air, landing on one of the Titan's. A moment later there was a sickening crack as the robot's head was separated from its body.
     "FIRE!" Alex shouted as Unit 09 opened up with all of its rocket launchers. Hundreds of missiles poured from the launchers, all zeroing in on three Titans and blowing them to scrap.
     "And again!" he shouted, opening up with another barrage that blew four more Titans to pieces.
     "Eat blazing slag!" Andrew shouted as Unit 12 fired off energy arrows in rapid fire fashion, blowing several Titan mechs to pieces in a matter of seconds.
     "Take this!" Adderson shouted as Unit 07 hurled its progressive axe into a cluster of the Titan mechs. A moment later the axe returned, which was followed by the mechs falling to pieces.
     As the Evas fought the Titans Lina, Zelgadis, Amelia, and Sylphiel took out their pent up frustration on the two women and the man whom had attacked them.
     "Where is Gourry?!" Lina and Sylphiel demanded, playing Up / Down with the woman by utilizing opposing levitation and gravity spells.
     "The blond swordsman put up quite a fight, as did the others," the man said as Amelia put 'the pinch' on him, "Which made them the prime candidates to be used in a little experiment."
     "But now that you've arrived we have found more," the blond said, taking out a radio, "activate the vacuum beam. We've found more who would be perfect!"
     A giant gateway opened in the bottom of the craft. From the gateway came a brilliant light which reversed the Eva transformations for the Warriors and picked up Units 11 and 10. The beam picked up everyone except for Alex, who sat on the ground, stunned by the losses he was receiving and also from the reversal of his Eva power up.
     "Alex, snap out of it!" Lina shouted as she chucked the Demons Blood talismans at the Warrior, which landed at his feet. The talismans released a flash of light that brought Alex back to his senses.
     "Lina? Zel? Derek?" he said, still a little bit fuzzy in the head. When he saw the talismans he clipped them on and cast a Ray Wing in an attempt to catch the craft. The craft open fire on Alex, who dodged each shot with his heightened agility. A larger doorway opened in the side of the craft, a beam of sorts firing and striking Alex, cutting off the power of the Ray Wing and causing him to plummet. In a last ditch effort he hurled a Digger Volt at the craft, which harmlessly struck the armor plating.
     As he crashed down he watched the doors on the craft close up and the craft phase out of normal space into invisibility He closed his eyes, a single tear of despair running down his cheek as he lapsed into unconsciousness.

     "We have most of the subjects in stasis now," a woman with short wavy red hair said into a radio. Behind her sat several large glass tubes filled with some sort of white, somewhat translucent goo. Occasionally a body would float forward and press against the glass for a moment before vanishing back into the goo. Off to the side lay a large pile of clothing, ranging from capes and armor to shirts and pants of varying sizes, colors, and shapes.
     "Excellent," the blond woman's voice said, "it was unfortunate we couldn't snare Warrior Saturn as easily as we snared these, but we'll get him soon enough."
     "Commander, what are we going to do with the three in the two Evangelion Units we picked up?" the redhead asked.
     "We'll pry them out soon enough and then we'll place them in stasis as well." the blond chuckled a moment later.
     As the two conversed, three specific bodies pressed against the glass of the tubes, the first one being Lina's. Some bubbles in the goo covered a couple important areas, but she appeared to be in a dreamless slumber. Adderson's body pressed up against the glass of a second tube, bubbles covering an important area. He appeared to be in a dreamless sleep as well, but his expression was of sadness and despair. The third body was Zelgadis, bubbles covering the same area. He was in a dreamless slumber as well, but his face was deep set in concentration, as if he was reaching out to somebody with his mind. The bodies were engulfed by the goo a moment later as laughter echoed throughout the craft.
     "I will have Warrior Saturn and his powers to myself!" the blond woman cackled, her laughter echoing.
