"Top of her game' -
a Leena Zoids Battle fanfic

     Leena Toros sat in the cockpit of her custom Gunsniper zoid, primed and ready for yet another battle. her weapon safety locks were set to off; her tracking system was online and running; plus she wanted revenge. Well, not revenge, per say, but something to take out her aggression upon since Bit had eaten some of her food and Harry was still trying to get a date with her.
     "Where the bloody heck are they?!" she growled through gritted teeth. "Bit, Brad, any sign?"
     "Negative," Brad replied nonchalantly.
     "Nothing here," Bit added, "Say Leena, are you still mad at me?"
     "I'm.... just.... fine," Lina growled, her grip on her controls tightening. She turned off her outgoing audio before bursting into song. "I want to be the very best, like no one every was. To beat them is my real test, to trounce them is my cause. I will travel across the land, searching far and wide. Zoid battles to understand the power that's inside."
     "Leena," Jamie's voice interrupted,, "they're coming your way!"
     "Finally," Leena said, scanning the horizon, "what's coming at me?"
     "A couple of really nasty looking Zaber fangs."
     Leena rolled her eyes. "Great," she growled, "it's the fuzzy panda team again."
     Her tracking software locked onto the first enemy zoid right away. The second and third joined the first as they began to sniff around for the Blitz team's zoids.
     "Leena here, I've got three of them," she purred, her software locking onto the three Zaber fangs.
     "Watch out for them," Brad said, his image appearing on her view screen, "there are more than three out there."
     "Whatever," Leena replied, blowing Brad's warning aside, "I'll just nuke them now."
     "But Leena," Bit protested.
     "Weasle Array," she said, her software locking on like a steel trap. "Total assault!"
     Her Gunsniper rocked as every missile pod belched forth warhead after warhead, filling the air with an endless stream of ammo. In a matter of seconds the Zaber fangs were more or less reduced to a few piles of burning wreckage.
     "Leena, what the hell are you thinking?!" Bit demanded, "Those weren't the only three!"
     "I'm the queen of the world!" Leena cackled, running from her hiding place, the gattling guns on the back of her zoid coming online. As soon as she reached the clearing with the remains of the first three Zaber fangs she found herself surrounded by many more of that type of zoid. She could see Bit's Leiger Zero Jager and Brad's Shadowfox off in the distance, both pinned down by covering fire.
     "Well, it looks like it's left up to me," she sighed before an evil grin crossed her lips. "It's party time. Weasle Array... TOTAL ASSAULT!"
     In a very uncharacteristic display of speed and grace Leena's over encumbered zoid managed to not only take out the army of Zaber fangs, but her two team mates as well with a couple of stray missiles.
     "The battle is over, the battle is over," the judge robot proclaimed, "the winner is... the Blitz Team!"
     "I'm the queen of the world!" Leena proclaimed once again as Bit and Brad sighed, their command systems frozen.
     "She's dangerous," Bit growled.
     "She's still one of the top people on the team," Brad said.
     "She's still a brat," Bit huffed.
     "I'm the queen.... OF THE WORLD!!"
