My World !

Wondering what this homepage is all about? My world will give you some fun things to enjoy, and also be informative at the same time. This is my homepage. I intend to give you some small insight into my life, hobbies, goals, and dreams.

My name is Ariel, I am 18 years old. I have lived in the state of New Hampshire all of my life.

I attend college in Boston, Massachusetts. I am in my freshman year, as a biology major. I always dreamed of being a veterinarian. I am not ruling it out, I have discovered that the field of science needs to be fully explored before I can make a final career choice. I am, in my opinion, a self instructed ecologist. :-) I love wildlife, and the study of them, as much as I do domesticated animals.

Currently, I am employed and involved in the field of marine biology. I find this field fascinating. Part of my job requirement is to learn to dive. LOL Now who wouldnt enjoy that. :-) I am in training right now for my diving certificate. Another part of my job requirement is to be involved with the ecowatch program. I will be voluntering at least four wks out of my life every year to this cause, well until I graduate that is. I plan on doing more than 4 wks. :-) I dont mind, actually I am looking forward to traveling and getting experience in different fields. Volunteering is a great way to get that experience, at the same time giving me a sense of fullfillment that I can make a difference. After all, I do need to make a final decision on my career choice.

Well that was the serious side of my life. Among all the other things going on, I enjoy hiking, camping out, snowball fights, skiing, and snowmobiling. My very favorites are horseback riding, swimming, and cross country running... Right now, I am in the process of training for the marathon in Boston this coming spring. Dont get the wrong idea I am not a world class runner, I just thought it would be fun to do once in my life. So wish me luck.

Along with that, I also love to read, dance, hang out with friends... both at home and on mIRC. mIRC is one of the lastest additions to my life that has proven to be challenging and fun. :))) I suppose you have now gotten the highlights of my life, so maybe the rest of the pages ahead will make sense to you.

This will be updated frequently. I intend to have many gifted poets, listed in this section. I am doing this so I can share my love of these with you. I love poetry. It touches a part of my being that nothing else can. You may want to bookmark this page, so you can come back frequently to see any new additions.
