NING'S
CHILDHOOD
A sweet memory indeed.....Ning Baizura(in
front) on her kindergardeen graduation day
in the year of 1981. Also included in the
picture are her mom....Stella( with spectacles)
and her brother...Ahmad Mosadique, who is
standing behind Ning.
Precisely 6.50am.......on the morning of 28 Jun
1975, Satilah or better known as Stella safe to deliver a baby
girl who weighed around 8 pauns at Klinik Tan, Kajang Selangor.
Not so long after that.......Stella and her baby found themselves
to be in the hospital for a couple of days more in the ward as
the baby had 'demam kuning'(yellow fever).
The good side Ning having that kind of
particular fever is that she got her unique name from that
incident. Her father...Hamzah named the baby girl as Ning ( the
named Ning was taken abrreviate from the colour 'kuning'(yellow)
and was combined with Baizura to become Ning Baizura...
Ning's growing was a total surprised to Stella
as Ning and her brother... Ahmad Mosadique's growing were to
experienced a lot of shocking incidents unsimilar to other
regular children.
On her 6 days of age, Stella had given Ning to
eat 'soft nestum' and when ning reached a month's old, Ning
started to fond of eating 'hard nestum'.

When Ning was two months old, she can already
roll by herself and start to stand and walk when she was 9 months
of age. In fact, there's a lot of ning's attitudes and behaviours
that are quite surprisingly to Stella as she had never though of
receiving from God...a child that is so ' hyper' active.
Talking about Ning when she was small, Stella
said that when Ning was born up to she was about 4 years of age,
Ning was very active and quite a naughty little girl.
Most of her friends at that time are mostly boys
with the same age and even much older than her. " The mind
that Ning's have when she was small makes me myself felt quite
impressed with her as even though she was only 2 years old, she
looks older than the other kids who are much older than
her."
"She was a responsible person yet at the
same time she always became the victim of her brother," says
Stella who was at that time involved with many voluntarily works.
Ning at the age of 3 said Stella, was already
capable of doing small works at home making the job of the
servent hired by Stella to be a little bit easier..thanks to the
little helper. A lot of works such as cleaning, taking the dried
cloth from outside into the house or even organize the things
inside the house like removing the chairs.
