*~*~Megan's Concert Experience*~*~
I went to the August 24, 1998 show at the meadowlands in NJ(you know, the place they're playing soccer in RTA! They ran over the place I stood! omg getting a little carried away here!!) I went with one of my best friends, Marisa, our co-writer and my sister, Tara (who's 25) took us just to make sure nothing happened to us. Anyway, Marisa knew someone who could get us good seats (on the first tier). When we finally got there we bought souviners while my sister picked up our tickets. When we were all finished, we stood in line and waited to be let in. While we were standing there one of my sister's old friends from high school came up and started talking to us. He had floor seats that he was willing to trade with us!!!! We were so excited!!! We thanked him like 20 times and finally started inside. We had no idea exactly where our seats were so Tara showed us. We had like 9th row seats! We were totally freakin' out. We had to wait about 20 more minutes even before Admiral Twin came out (Who was awesome by the way!) We tried to calm each other down (breathe in...breathe out... right Risa? hehe lol) =) Ok, so anyway Admiral Twin finally started and they were SO cool. I love them! They did most of their songs and when they announced it was their last song, everyone screamed. I kinda felt bad for them but I really wanted to see Hanson. When they were done the crowd went wild for them. Then, the stage crew started setting up for Hanson (but you couldn't see them because there was a silver sheet in front of the stage). Then "Gimme Some Lovin'" started and both Marisa and I screamed at the same time. The curtain dropped and there they were! I was freaking out during the entire concert (just ask Marisa or my sister they had never seen me like that before) They played most of their songs off of MON and some new songs (at the time they were: More Than Anything and Ever Lonely) It was the best concert ever! Even though we were pretty close my pictures didn't come out that great. The guards kept yelling at me to put away my camera and even threatned to take it away from me! Despite that, I still had an awesome time. Here are some of the best parts of the concert~ The waterguns were AWESOME!!!!! Zac squirted us twice and Tay squirted us twice. Everyone went CrAzY when they did that. (it was awesome) Then when Tay took his shirt off and he had a white undershirt beneath it (Yes, I am a Tay fan, no, I don't stalk him and yes, he is HOT!!!!) =) Anyway, all the girls that think Tay's hot started screaming SO loud. It was funny. I can totally say that it was the best night of my life and I can't wait til' I go to another concert!
