Once their first day as seniors was over, Tay, Tom & Laurie grabbed their blades from their lockers & went to Akiko's house so she could get her's. When she finally dug them out of her closet, they headed towards the skate park. Akiko had been on blades before but couldn't do any tricks on them. Tom, Tay & Laurie showed her some really hard tricks and tried to teach them to Akiko but she really wasn't getting it. When they were done skating, Laurie walked with Akiko and Tay and Tom walked together. On the way to the beach, Tay and Tom talked about Laurie.
"Tay, you got it bad for her." Tom said.
"What!?! Who?" Tay said with his voice cracking while turning beet red.
"Laurie, who else!" Tom said rolling his eyes.
"Dude, look at her! She's so hot! Plus she's nice, sweet, funny....."Tay continued on about his dream girl.
"Tay! Shut up and ask her out then. It's not that hard." Tom interupted Taylor's thoughts.
"She'd never go out with me." Tay said disappointed.
"Well, maybe she would if you asked her. Man even Zac has a girlfriend." Tom said empasizing the word Zac.
"I scored some Green Day tickets, do you think she'd go with me?" Tay asked hopefully.
"Are you kidding, Green Day's her favorite band. Of course she'll go with you. She'll probably pay more attention to Billie Joe than you though."Tom said laughing.
"Shut up!", Tay yelled, "Fine! I'll ask her!"
When they got to the beach, they found Zac and Josie making out. They put on their hockey stuff and went over to their friends. Laurie took her stick and put it between the faces of the making out couple.
"HELLO!? Let's play hockey, c'mon!" Laurie yelled.
Zac and Josie broke apart smiling but embarassed.
"Hey, I'm Akiko."
"I'm Josie, nice to meet you."
"C'mon, let's go play." Tay said.
They all got ready and picked teams. They played for about and hour and a half.
Whent they were done, Akiko went home with Tom (they lived near each other).Josie, Laurie, Zac and Tay walked home together. After Josie was dropped off, Zac kinda left Laurie and Tay alone.
"Hey Laurie? I um.......got Green Day tickets and I was uh....wondering..."Tay started to mumble something about going with him.
"OH MY GOD!!!!! Tay you're the best guy in the world! Oh, I love you!" Laurie wraped her arms around Tay's neck and kissed him. He turned bright red and tried to kiss her back.
"Sorry about that Tay, C-ya!" Laurie said running to her house.
"So Tay, you finally asked her out huh?"Zac asked.
"I'm bringing her to a Green Day concert."
"Oh, cool! Can me and Josie come too?" Zac asked.
"Yeah right! Why don't you get some Blink 182 tickets for her." Tay suggested.
"Maybe I will." Zac said with a smile.
