**At School**
Tom, Tay and Laurie had the same 1st period class, english, while Zac and Josie had math together. The three friends went to english and sat at a table of 4. A new girl, Akiko, sat with them.
"Hey, I'm Laurie, this is Tom & that's Taylor." said Laurie.
"Hi, my name's Akiko."
"So, where'd you move from?" Tay asked.
"New York." Akiko said.
"How do you like California so far?" Tom asked.
"It's cool, but different form New York. Everyone's either a skater or a surfer here!"
"You're a goth huh?" Tom asked.
"What gave it away?" Akiko said laughing.
Akiko had all black on. Black hair, make-up, clothes & shoes. She has short, spiky hair that's died black but she often changes the color. She had on Doc Marten combat boots & her bottom lip pierced.
"Cool lip ring!", Laurie said," I wanted to get a tongue ring but my mom wouldn't let me."
"That would've been awesome!" Akiko exclaimed.
"Hey Akiko, do you skate?" Tom asked.
"Not really, why?"
"Well, you could come to the skate park with us after school. After we skate for awhile we go play roller hockey. Plus, if you come you could meet Tay's brother Zac and his girlfriend Josie." Tom said.
"Sounds cool but I don't know how to skate." Akiko said.
"No problem, we can teach you how. We've been skating forever." Laurie said.
1st period was over and they all went their seperate ways. Akiko and Laurie both had chemistry so they walked together. On the way there they talked about Tom and Taylor.
"Is Taylor ALWAYS that quiet?" Akiko asked Laurie.
"He's just a little shy that's all."
"He's pretty cute but Tom's SO much hotter!!!!" Akiko exclaimed.
"Yeah, Tay's cute. I've know both of them since I was 3 so I don't really think of them that way, ya know?" Lauie asked.
"Yeah but Tay really likes you. He was staring at you the whole period." Akiko said.
"Well, people have been telling me that since fifth grade. I say we're just friends." said Laurie.
Whatever, I saw what I saw!" Akiko smiled.
When they finally got to class they sat down together and talked through the whole class.
