Cinnamon Bear Tea
Submitted by Lynda Simmons

Cinnamon Bear Tea is not really a tea, it's an experience in child's play. This is definitely in the realm of pretend. A child can "eat the fat raisins" once the tea is gone.
You'll need:
1 small box of raisins
½ stick of cinnamon
1 curl of orange peel (dried or fresh) zest only, no pith
1 clove, broken
-------------------------------------------------------

Child may put ingredients into small teapot from tea set (or use a creamer). Adult pours hot water over all. Cover. Set timer for 15 minutes. Share some picture books. Serve tea with milk and sugar. Children do not appreciate hot tea, but the ceremony of "cream" and sugar and pouring and serving is most valuable.
