Greenleaf
This hut is perched at treeline on the shoulder of Mt. Lafayette. Nearby are the rocky Franconia Range
and spectacular ravines that cascade down into Franconia Notch. Sublime sunsets over the notch are a
beautiful finish to a day's hike.

Level of Difficulty
One of the more challenging huts to get to because of the steep and rocky terrain. All trails
leading up Lafayette from the hut are extremely exposed and subject to high winds and quickly
changing weather conditions.
