Zealand Falls
A four-season spot near waterfalls and outstanding views. Great wildlife--perfect place to spot a
moose. Backcountry skiing in the winter. Located in Zealand Notch, once a major logging center and
now recovered from devastating fires in the nineteenth century.

Level of Difficulty
Especially suitable for young and old alike. A gentle 3-mile trail follows an old railroad grade
until just before the hut (last 300 feet are steep stone steps)

Zealand Rd. is closed in winter, making the trek 6 miles from trailhead
