Coin collecting has been a love of mine for many years. I remember as a young boy my father and I sitting down looking over change and putting them in the blue Whtiman coin folders. Many times he would tell me about the history associated with the dates that were on the coins. I often sat there and tried to put myself in those eras, wondering how life was back then. This has had such an impact on me that I find myself still looking for the 1916-d "Mercury" dime, the 1909-s VDB penny, or the 1955 "Double Die" penny in the change that I get. I wish that I had those coins today. Like other kids, as we grew up they were squandered away for a Coke or such.

Coin collecting is an interesting hobby and there are all types of coins still in circulation today that are worth alot.

I recently sold some "Error" coins on the net at auction and received $9.75 for a quarter that I got in change. Not a bad profit indeed!!!

My WONDERFUL WIFE recently suprised me with coin for our third anniversary a 1913 5 dollar GOLD Indian just like the one below. I have always wanted one of these but for one reason or another I never got one. Owning one of these beauties has been one of my dreams.

"THANK YOU SUSAN I TRULY LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!"
