I managed a SUNOCO gas station on route 101 between Exeter and Portsmouth in a small town called Stratham. During the years that I managed it, I had the pleasure of meeting alot of very nice people; people that touched my life in many ways. I employed a gentleman named Dave that was a student at the University of New Hampshire majoring in music. He used to play the french horn and occasionally several of his friends would get together and have a "jam" session at the station.

While managing the station, I often did things for many people less fortunate than myself. In the Spring, I would have children plant flowers around the curbs to beautify the station. In the Summer, I would often give away beach balls to the kids whose parents frequented the station.

In the Fall, I would always pass out handfuls of candy to children around Halloween. In the Wintertime, I would dress up as Santa and have a bag of candy to give to the "good" little girls and boys.

I would also do little things for some of my less fortunate customers. Many times throughout the year, I would often find myself giving people discounts, jump starting cars in the winter, and plowing lots of driveways for a simple 'Thank you.' That meant more to me than all the money in the world.

Throughout my life, I have felt the desire to assist people in any walk of life when they've been down-trodden, depressed, and in need of help. This is a very big part of my life. I have been repaid with kindness and understanding, lots of prayers, and a few tears.

These memories I shall never forget. I have always remembered Acts 20:35, which says, "It is more blessed to give than to receive."
