Early yesterday the R.I.N. ships under General Ytre. They arrive in the 4 system planet declared it part of the empire and changed its name from GY-657 to Freedex Prime.

The survey and mining establishment went fine on the first three worlds. It is estimated with the resources in this system it will be a major ship producing system in 5 months.

The systems quiteness cleared when they approached the final planet of the system. Right as the 2 colony ships approached with the transports a fleet a fighters lifted of from ruins on the planets surface. The two light carriers quickly responded dispatching a fleet of its own. The escorting destroyers were not at the planet and were still scanning other parts of the system. One of the battlecruisers was at the planet. These fighters were strong they were fighter sized but carried massive weapons. They headed strait for the battle cruiser after strafing the colony ships. Our fighters were only a ble to knock out 5 before they reached the battle cruiser and they unleashed a viscous weapons burst destoying the battlecruiser. Our fighters still continuously firing at them took out 4 more. They then headed for the light carriers. As they reached weapons range they fired again obliterating one of the carriers. But by the time their weapons recharged they were knocked down to 5 ships. They then fired on the other carrier only damaging it. The fighters then cleaned them up. The reckage has been gathered and the transports now have landed searching for some clue to the origan of these fighters.
