I was born at Bishop DesGosbrien Hospital (spelling?), placed in St. Joseph's Orphanage (Vermont Catholic Chairities), and adopted at about 6 months of age. My birth mother apparently had a child while in high school, married the father, left him, had me by another man, gave me up for adoption and returned to her husband. I have several half siblings. My birth mother is/was of English descent and is/was a Protestant. Prior to my adoption, she called me "D*****" and provided some financial assistance for me while I was in the orphanage. |
