I believe my father was adopted twice by the same woman. One of the dates might be 10/30/1944 and then returned my father because her husband died? Later came back and adopted him when he was 4 or 5 years old. I believe his birth mother was Ellen McBrady. that is the name on his baptismal papers.My father was told that his birth mother was the daughter of a prominant laywer. He was at the Holy Innocents home. I believe my father's second adopted father might be his birth father. there is a strong resemblence.
