My unmarried sister gave up her child at age 18. She has asked me to help her search for her son and I have just started the search. Here is what I know ...

My sister is Margaret Shaw and she lives in Bible Hill, Nova Scotia. On December 8, 1965 she had a son at Eastern Maine General Hospital in Bangor and gave him up for adoption through the Good Samaritan Agency. I have a birth certificate from this birth. She received soem information from the adoptive parents, including a picture of her son, named David, at age 1 1/2 years. There was a letter included which mentions that both of the parents were military and the father was a ham radio operator. I made photocopies of the correspondence and pictures and have them in my possession. My sister has always felt a void in her life due to this and would like to be reunited. She has left a letter and contact information with the agency and she says that she is in the registry somewhere. I would like to identify her son, David, and if possible get them reunited.
