Mother was Eleanor Williams. Doctor who delivered baby was Dr. Card. Hospital was a small, private hospital, since closed. Due to circumstances, her mother was not able to keep her, and did not know where the baby was placed for foster care and adoption. When baby's natural parents were able to marry in 1945 they searched for her, unsuccessfully. I know she has been seeking her natural heritage, but when she contacted a cousin in the Brewer, Maine, area, he was not aware of the situation and told her she was mistaken.
