My adoption took place in Maine because of the laws in Massachusetts concerning religion. My biological mother was young, and in school. She was artistic, made her own jewelery, and had a beautiful smile. My birth father was a resident of Maine, and worked in Boston at a Steinway piano store.
The adoption took place privately, and my mother was flown to Maine and I think lived at the home of Dorthy Estes awaiting my birth.
They are both Scottish, and German, and were young, maybe married.
