Season 1 A normal young schoolgirl named Usagi Tsukino found a cat one day with the crescent moon marked on its forehead. The cat was Luna, whose mission was to find the long lost Moon Princess. She made Usagi the pretty soldier SailorMoon, who fought for love and justice. Along came Sailor Mercury (Ami), Sailor Mars (Rei), Sailor Jupiter (Makoto), and Sailor Venus (Minako). Helping them was a mysterious figure in a tuxedo, known as Tuxedo Kamen. The Sailor Senshi, as they were known, battled against the Dark Kingdom, which was ruled by the evil Queen Beryl. Beryl had four major generals working for her: Jadeite, Nephrite, Zoisite, and Kunzite. They were all defeated eventually. At first, the Dark Kingdom was trying to trying to gather energy from Earthlings to revive their empress, Queen Metallia. Then they realized that they could have as much energy as they wanted if they had the Emporium Silver Crystal. So they went and attacked Earth creatures with special gifts to steal the seven Rainbow Crystals, of course with the Senshi always getting in the way. Finally, the seven crystals were found and put together, and they formed the Silver Crystal. Our heroine Usagi received some pretty shocking news: not only that the annoying young man named Mamoru that she disliked turned out to be Tuxedo Kamen, he was also her destined love Prince Endymeon. And Usagi herself was the Moon Princess Serenity! Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus were her guardians. The Senshi gained control of the Silver Crystal, but Queen Beryl captured Mamoru. She turned him into an evil general. Now SailorMoon and her friends had to go fight Beryl in her lair at the North Pole. One by one, the Sailor guardians were killed by Beryl's henchmen. SailorMoon went into Beryl's lair alone, and managed to revive Mamoru. But then he was killed by Beryl. Usagi changed to Princess Serenity and used the Silver Crystal against Beryl. After defeating her, Serenity used the Crystal's power to bring her loved ones back to life, and erased their memories along with her own. By doing so, Usagi hoped that they could now all lead a normal life at last. Season 2 Usagi was living a normal life after the defeat of Queen Beryl. One night, a comet crashed down onto Earth, bringing along the two aliens Ail and Ann. They planted a giant tree, which needed human energy to grow and start a new kingdom. Ail played a strange flute, which created creatures that would go and steal the energy. One of the creatures attacked Naru. Luna had to revive Usagi's memory so she could transform to SailorMoon again. The other senshi were also brought back, but they couldn't do anything for Mamoru. Without his memory, Mamoru did not remember his relationship with Usagi, which made her very sad. To add to that, a mysterious figure in white named "Moonlight Knight" started helping the senshi when they were in trouble instead of Tuxedo Kamen. Meanwhile, Ail and Ann disguised themselves as two exchange students at Usagi's school. Ail fell hard for Usagi, while Ann set her heart on Mamoru. Things got more complicated when the aliens decided to use Usagi's energy to feed to the tree. The large tree started going wild, and overpowered the sailor senshi. It attacked Ail and Ann, and they discovered that they were in love as they tried to save each other. SailorMoon talked to the vicious tree, which began to "tell" her its sad story. With her power, SailorMoon turned the tree back into a sprout and gave it to Ail and Ann. The lovers would travel to a new planet to start their kingdom. Moonlight Knight then appeared, and Usagi found out that he was really Mamoru's memory. Once the Knight merged with Mamoru, he would have his memory again. So with Mamoru safe and the senshi united, part one ended with a happy ending. Now for part two of the season, Usagi and Mamoru were on a date when a little pink-haired girl dropped out of the sky, claiming to be Usagi Tsukino. She was called Chibiusa for short. Chibiusa hypnotized Usagi's family into believing that she was Usagi's cousin, and stayed in their home. She was really from the future, and was looking for the Silver Crystal to save her mother. The senshi fought a band of new enemies, who were after Chibiusa. They were Rubeus and four sisters who worked for him. The sisters became good, and Rubeus destroyed, but the senshi found out that they were members of the powerful Dark Moon Clan. Other members were Emerald, prince Diamond, and his brother Sapphire. They took advice from an evil figure in cloak called the Wise Man (not trustworthy!). The senshi took the Silver Crystal and traveled to the future to save Chibiusa's mother. They met Sailor Pluto, keeper of the Time Gate. When they got to the future, they were told that Chibiusa was actually Small Lady, daughter of King Endymeon and Neo Queen Serenity of Crystal Tokyo. This meant that she Usagi and Mamoru's future child! When the Silver Crystal failed to revive the sleeping Neo Queen serenity, Chibiusa ran away. She met the Wise Man, who told her that she was not loved and turned her into the evil Black Lady. At this point, Emerald and Sapphire were both dead. The sailor senshi went to the Wise Man's lair to save Chibiusa. Prince Diamond tried to protect SailorMoon, and was killed by the Wise Man. Then Black Lady came and the senshi managed to change her back into Chibiusa. Usagi changed to Neo Queen Serenity and Chibiusa changed to Small Lady. They each used their own Silver Crystal and defeated the Wise Man. In the end, Chibiusa said goodbye and went back to the future. The last scene showed Neo Queen Serenity hugging Chibiusa in Crystal Tokyo. Season 3 Rei started getting strange dreams that showed the end of the world. They coincided too well with the appearance of new enemies, who attempted to steal pure "heart-crystals" from humans. Responsible behind these attacks was a man named Tomoe, who seemed calm and normal to other people but was really a mad, evil-possessed professor. Working for him were a woman named Kaolinite and the Witches 5: Eudial, Mimete, Tellu, Viluy, and Cyprine (Pichurol). They were referred to as the Deathbusters. At the beginning, Usagi lost her ability to transform to SailorMoon. But hers and Mamoru's love gave her a new transformation and attack. Two new characters were introduced, the athletic Haruka and elegant Michiru. They were also known as Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune (the outer senshi). Those two had a mission, to find three heart-crystals that contain the magical talismans that would form the Purity Chalice. If they found the chalice before the Deathbusters, they could stop the Messiah of Darkness from rising (like in Rei's dream). But ironically, the talismans turned out to be in the hearts of Haruka and Michiru themselves. The third talisman belonged to Setsuna, Sailor Pluto. With the Purity Chalice, SailorMoon could transform to Super SailorMoon for a little while. Since she couldn't maintain that form for long, the outer senshi were not convinced that she was the Messiah of Light. Meanwhile, Chibiusa (back and was now Sailor Chibi Moon) befriended a young girl named Hotaru. Her father was Professor Tomoe!! Hotaru, just like her father, was possessed by an evil force since she was a child. This evil force, Mistress Nine, needed to absorb a pure heart-crystal to gain total control. Yes, Mistress Nine was the dreadful Messiah of Darkness. But that wasn't Hotaru's only secret, she was also Sailor Saturn, the senshi of destruction. Because of this, the outer senshi disapproved of Chibiusa's and Hotaru's friendship. When Professor Tomoe found out, he kidnapped Chibiusa and used her heart-crystal to resurrect Mistress Nine, and took over Hotaru's body. Chibiusa would have died, but Mamoru connected her life force with his own. He bought the sailor senshi more time to defeat Mistress Nine. Meanwhile, the Messiah of Darkness was trying to call on the Lord of Silence, Pharaoh Ninety. All she needed now was the Purity Chalice, which SailorMoon still had. Mistress Nine threatened the lives of Haruka and Michiru if SailorMoon did not surrender the chalice. Obviously, she did. So Pharaoh Ninety was released, in the form of spreading darkness and silence. Just then, Hotaru's soul fought back and pushed away Mistress Nine. The ghostly figure of Hotaru, as Sailor Saturn, appeared next to Chibiusa and returned her heart-crystal. Then Sailor Saturn bided farewell to SailorMoon and jumped into the spreading darkness to stop it once and for all, at the cost of her life. In her grief, SailorMoon transformed to Super SailorMoon without the Purity Chalice. She was the Messiah of Light after all. SSM went after Sailor Saturn. Pharaoh Ninety was gone forever. SSM brought back an infant, the reincarnation of Hotaru. The baby was given to Prof. Tomoe (good now!) to care for. The outer senshi had to say good bye just as they all got to know each other. Maybe they'd meet again someday though. Season 4 Chibiusa met a strange horse in her dream, named Pegasus. The horse claimed to be the guardian from the land of beautiful dreams. Meanwhile, a new band of enemies came to town, the Dead Moon Circus. Leader of the circus was the beautiful Queen Nehelenia (who was trapped in a mirror) and her right hand Zirconia. They sent the Amazon Trio: Tiger Eye, Hawk Eye, and Fish Eye to go find Pegasus in the beautiful dreams of human. The sailor senshi had to battle against those three, but with the help from Pegasus, they could now transform to super senshi. The Amazon Trio was finally defeated and sent to Pegasus's kingdom to live a happy life. Nehelenia then used The Amazoness Quartet; four young girls named CereCere, PallaPalla, JunJun, and VesVes, to find Pegasus. They too were converted to good by the senshi, though much later. At this point, Chibiusa had developed a strong friendship with Pegasus. She discovered that he was really a boy named Helios, guardian of beautiful dreams. Queen Nehelenia, who held Helios's physical body captive, was after him and the golden diamond. Helios hid with the golden diamond in Chibiusa's dream. The effect of the diamond turned Chibiusa's mirror of dream golden. When Nehelenia found out, she kidnapped Sailor Chibi Moon. The senshi went after her, and were stopped by Zirconia. But she was defeated by Super SailorMoon. Meanwhile, Mamoru was suffering extreme pains from the dark power affecting the Earth. Nehelenia took the time to force Pegasus back into Helios's body and took the golden diamond. She also put Chibi Moon into an eternal sleep. The senshi found her, but couldn't wake her. Then Helios came and gave Chibi Moon a kiss, which magically woke her. One of the Amazoness Quartet took the golden diamond from Nehelenia and gave it to SailorMoon. She and Chibi Moon used its power to defeat Nehelenia. The evil queen told SailorMoon her life story, how she was possessed by an evil dream since she was young. Then she tossed Chibi Moon off a tall building, and SailorMoon jumped after her. Nehelenia stepped back into her mirror, and the mirror fell and disappeared in total darkness. Helios saved SailorMoon and Chibi Moon before they hit the ground. A few days later, he bided farewell and returned to his kingdom. Chibiusa hoped she would see Helios again so she could tell him about her dreams. Season 5 The season started with the continuation of the Nehelenia story. Queen Nehelenia (the one trapped in a mirror) was awakened by Sailor Galaxia. She took revenge on the sailor senshi by capturing Mamoru. This marked the return of the outer senshi, including Saturn. The senshi freed Nehelenia from the evil dream and turned her back into a child. After the fiasco, Chibiusa went back to the future and Mamoru was sent to Colorado for college. Galaxia attacked his plane and took Mamoru's star seed. He disappeared, unknown to Usagi who thought that he had forgotten about her. One day, a little girl fell out of the sky and into Usagi's arms. All she could say was 'chibi chibi' so that became her name. Chibi Chibi was really Galaxia' star seed, which was released when the evil Chaos took over Sailor Galaxia. Chibi Chibi could transform to Sailor Chibi Chibi Moon, and gave Eternal SailorMoon (Usagi had a new transformation) a new attack. Now the evil Galaxia set out to steal all the star seeds on Earth. She controlled the Sailor Animamates (or the Metal Senshi): Iron Mouse, Aluminum Siren, Lead Crow, and Tin Nyanko. If a person's star seed was stolen, that person turned into a monster (a Phage) that the senshi had to fight. They met up with the Sailor Starlights: Star Fighter, Star Healer, and Star Maker. They were actually the popular singing group, the Three Lights (Seiya, Yaten and Taiki Kou). The Starlights were searching for their lost princess Kakyuu by singing special songs that only she could understand. Seiya had a crush on Usagi, which was why she helped the inner senshi despite her teammates. When the Starlights finally found their princess (out of an incense burner!), she was then killed by Galaxia. That was when the Starlights agreed to help Eternal SailorMoon. At the end, Galaxia took everyone's star seed except for ESM and the Starlight's. Chibi Chibi revealed her true form as the star seed and transformed into a sword for ESM to use. Galaxia turned into Chaos: all dark with a pair of bat wings. Usagi couldn't bring herself to kill Chaos in Galaxia's body (typical), so Chaos took the chance to shatter the sword. Chibi Chibi died. Grief stricken, Usagi (with nothing on but a pair of angel wings) flew toward Chaos. She took Chaos's hand and with her love, changed her back into the good Galaxia. All the star seeds were returned, even Chibi Chibi was back. She floated away as a pink ball of light. The Sailor Starlights and Princess Kakyuu also returned to their planet. Everyone was happy, and Usagi was back with her Mamoru. The End. ::Main::
