Ty Conklin: Signed a 3 year deal with the Edmonton Oilers. Called up by the Oilers from Hamilton on Oct. 10, 2001 to be back-up to goalie Tommi Salo. Earned his first career start on Oct. 20, 2001 against the Florida Panthers and stopped 23 of 25 shots on goal. The Oilers won that game 6-2. Congratulations Ty!
Michael Filardo: Resident in Quincy, Massachusetts with his girlfriend, Alice, and working at the middle school and high school as a physical education teacher in Peabody, Massachusetts. Also employed as an NCAA Division III men's college ice hockey assistant coach at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts. Congratulations Michael!
