Dr. Cerf is Senior Vice President, Architecture and Technology, at MCI, and is the co-designer of the TCP/IP protocol, the communications protocol that gave birth to the Internet and which is commonly used today. He is considered to be one of the founding fathers of the Internet, and is a recipient of the U.S. National Medal of Technology and the Library of Congress Bicentennial Living Legend medal. |
