On our way home from our week-end in Austin, Fredericksburg, and Luckenbach,
we passed through Seguin and spotted this giant pecan there.
Apparently there is this store that sells pecans and other things and has a giant pecan outside their
store. It's called Pape's Pecan House and is home to one of the largest ollections of nutcrackers in
the world, with more than 3,000 examples. Tasty pecan gifts are also available however, we didn't
get a chance to go in and take a look as we had Luna with us and we couldn't just leave her in
the truck.
Here is a picture of Luna and I, of course. I found out later that there might be a giant squirrel
somewhere in town. Perhaps next time we go through there I'll spot him and get a picture with
him and hopefully there will still be many more trips to come. -- Nick
