Fair Lawn Comments - Vernon won this section last year but they lost too much talent to graduation to repeat. West Milford returns nearly their entire team and has the most talent in the section. Fair Lawn may make it to the finals...but it should be WM's section this year. And for their efforts, they get to wrestle Absegami in R1 of the all groups.
Garfield Comments - High Point has won this section the past two years but graduated nearly their entire line-up after last year. But they always have numbers so don't count them out. I'm picking PV now because they return most of their line-up and have some state caliber kids in Dugan and Stiles.
Hopatcong Comments - It looks like almost an entire SCIL section this season...since every G2 team in the league should be solid enough to qualify. Westwood also appears to return enough to get in again...but moving up to G2 is not good news for them. Kittatinny is the easy favorite and they will probably wrestle Newton or Lenape Valley in the finals.
Leonia Comments - With Westwood gone this section is wide open. Emerson has some fine individuals but little balance. From what I have been hearing HH/WB has the best returning balance and that's what is needed to be a sectional champion..so I'll go with them. Their present for winning is a date with Paulsboro in Trenton. |
