My Friend
is very special.
He looks
on me with love.
He reigns
in mighty glory
from
heaven up above.
My Friend
is very helpful.
He walks
with me each day.
He will
not let my foot fall.
He leads
me all the way.

is very tender.
Compassion
fill His heart,
and
He with gentle mercy
does
to me His love impart.
My Friend
is very faithful.
No disloyal
thought has He.
No matter
what my weakness,
He is
steadfast true to me.
My Friend
is most forgiving,
when
I sin or stray or err.
He continues
loving me
and
keeps me in His care.
My Friend
is strength and power.
He rules
both day and night,
the
morning sun in heaven,
the
lovely stars at night.
My Friend
is God the Father.
My Friend
is God the Son.
He is
the Holy Spirit,
the
Triune God in One.
