* The 18th Annual 2012 Hidden
Valley Closed Golf Classic is set for
Satruday, April 28th.

* Our ski season ended
at Belleayre enjoying great Spring Skiing over St. Patrick's Day weekend
with some of our Hidden Valley buddies.
* In spite of it being a
mild winter Buffy and John had fun on the ski slopes at their home at
Hidden Valley. Much of the fun comes from taking time to teach
youngsters about the joy of skiing.

*Buffy & John kicked
off the 2011-2012 ski season at Sugarbush in Vermont with some of their
HVARA ski buddies December 9th - 11th.

* The Blizzard of
October 29th 2011 dumped nearly a foot of snow on Hidden Valley. Buffy & John
were able to take advantage of this ealry snow by taking the 1st ski run at
Hidden Valley on Sunday, October 30th, a Hidden Valley Record.
* Buffy & John
played in the Annual Columbus Day Golf Classic with friends and family at
the Blackhed Mountin golf Resort.

* Buffy & John visited
and photographed NJ's oldest golf club, Essex County Country Club for John's
book "The Search for the 50 Most Beautiful Golf Holes in New Jersey."

* The 26th Annual 2011
Oktoberfest was a BLAST! Buffy and John played in the traditonal
Oktoberfest 2 Person Golf Scramble and finished 3rd with a 2 under score of
29. They then joined friends and enjoyed the Oktoberfest party.

* Buffy and John spent
Labor Day Weekend with friends and family upstate at Saugerties New York.
The picture below was taken of just a few of those friends and family
members.
* Buffy and John
celebratged their Wedding Anniversary again by playing golf at the Ballyowen
Golf Club. It was a beautiful day.

* It is with great
sadness and regret that we report the passing of our good friend and family
member Father Francis Gunn. Buffy and Fran grew up together and Fran
has been the presiding Priest at most family christenings, weddings, and
funerals. He was a joy in all our lives and will be forever
remembered. The newspaper announcement of his passing can be reviewed by clicking HERE.

taken during our trip to Ireland in 2005. The photo on the right was
taken at the Killarney Golf Club on a day when a rainbow was magnificent.

* We celebrated sister
Anne's birthday on August 23rd at one of our favorite restaurants,
Protofino's.

* The 16th Annual Poppa
Lou Friends & Family Golf Classic was held on Saturday, July 23rd at
Blackhead Mountain Golf Resort in the Catskils. Buffy & John played
with ski buddy Jack Powers and golf buddy Al Izzi. They finished
second for the second time in the past two years. Photos of the Poppa

* Buffy and John played
in the 2011 3rd Annual Crystal Springs Brews & Birdies Tournament and
enjoyed the Beer Festival with friends on July 16th, 2011. Buffy won
closest to the pin honors at the Ballyowen Golf Club in the event.

Summer arrived with
Memorial Day Weekend and a visit upstate New York
Friends and family take a break from the annual Memorial
Day softball game for the traditional photo. It was fun!
