| 2024 Summer & Fall Events
* We got the first snow of winter on November 22nd after a long drought This gave us motivation to start thinking about the upcoming ski season and possibly skiing the day after Thanksgiving at Belleayre Mountain. Lo0oking for a GREAT ski season. Time will tell.
* During the last week of October and early November Buffy and John were blessed to be able to return to the favorite home away from home, St. John in the US Virgin Islands. The fifteen days were spent snorkeling with the fish and turtles at each of the beautiful, but different beaches and socializing with the many friends we have on the island. Time was also spent identifying outlets to sell john's most recent book entitled "Kids Learn About Friendship in St. John US VI" so that locals featured in the book and visitors can obtain a copy. The book is also available on Amazon.com.
* Another fun day on the golf course at Green Ridge Golf Club. Buffy was on her game and won low gross, match play, low putts and a beer for closest to the pin. John just had fun missing enough putts to come in second in every game. We celebrated our good fortune at Emerald Point at Greenwood Lake with sister Peg and our fav bartender Angie.
* We continued our tradition of celebrating our wedding anniversary by playing golf at Ballyowen Golf Club. Buffy is too good. She won low gross, match play, closest to the pin for a beer and low putts. We than celebrated "Another Rotten Day in Heaven" with a couple of adult beverages with friends at Tony's.
* September 3rd is the 2nd best day in our lives, our wedding anniversary and the day we said "I do!" As so frequently in the past we celebrated with a romantic dinner at Milano Restaurant with our long time friend, owner Tony, all their wonderful staff and a wonderful dinner.
* It is always fun to get together with John's sisters at our traditional and favorite restaurant Portofino Restorante' . We gathered together on Thursday, June 20th to celebrate all our birthdays and our many blessings with our friends at Portofino.

We celebrated the end of a GREAT ski season with a trip to our favorite
runaway, St. John in the USVI for a 14 day visit with friends and snorkeling with beautiful turtles and fish.

* John wrote the children's book "Kids Learn About Friendship in St. John"
following their April trip featuring Jason Simmons and the "A Team" for their
consideration and kindness. The book is available in eBook,
paperback and hardcover at Amazon.com and other popular book outlets. * The celebration of the marriage of son Brad to Lisa Regan included the
opportunity to meet some Lisa's family and two pet dogs. The dinner and
socializing with new friends was a wonderful Easter celebration.
* If you know a woman who might enjoy golf give her the gift of John's 15th book "The Women's Guide to Learning to Play Golf for Fun!". The book was written to provide women, wives, and girlfriends who may wish to join their friends, husbands, and boy friends for a fun round of golf. The book details how to make learning to play golf easy and fun. The book is available online at Amazon.com paperback and eBook editions.
