*The Republican National Convention will be taking place in Philadelphia this year. The calendar of events for the for the demos goes like this:
July 24-30- training in non-violent direct action.
July 30- Unity 2000 March- assemble 9am on JFk Blvd, near 30 St. Station, march begins at 10:30 and goes to 4pm. This is a permitted march.
July 31- March for Economic Human Rights- 11am at City Hall, march begins at 12pm to First Union Center.
Aug 1- Non-violent direct action against criminal injustice system. We're not quite sure about the time and location on this.
Aug 2- We're not sure about the events on this day at the moment, but feel free to email us and we'll let you know what is going on.
*Just to keep everyone updated, the July four demo against the Nationalists in Morristown went relatively well. The Nationalists only had about 5 'people' present, while there were over 300 hundred counter demonstrators. There were 10 arrests, and several protestors were sprayed with pepper spray, including a seven year old boy.
