For Winston Cup Standing's Scroll Down!
This Page is My Nascar Page! As everyone knows that my NASCAR Driver is The Current Winston Cup Champion 'Dale Jarrett' He drives the Robert Yates Racing Ford Quality Care at your service car, He is also a member of the Coca-Cola Racing family. I Started following Dale when he Raced the Joe Gibbs Interstate batteries 18 and He Won the Daytona 500! Then Robert Yates Hired Dale to take over the #28 Texaco of Ernie Irvin while Ernie was getting better and when Ernie returned to Racing Robert had 2 Texaco cars on the track The #28 and The #88, After the end of the year Robert had a new Sponsor.
Ford Quality Care Was Born!
During the year 2000 We Lost 2 Great Drivers at New Hampture Motor Speedway the First one was.....
ADAM PETTY* -Was the 4th Generation Driver of the Petty's.
There was Lee Petty, Richard "THE KING" Petty 7 Time Winston Cup Champion, and Adam's Father Kyle Petty.
I only seen Adam race a few time's at Nazareth Motor Speedway in Nazareth P.A. and at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord N.C. and He was a great Busch Grand National Driver soon to be a Winston Cup Driver. He lost his Life in Practice and We Lost a Great Driver and a friend!~ Adam May you Rest in Peace and you wont be forgotten every day I look at your photo in my office with a die cast car on my desk and My Condolences go out to The Petty family. Adams Father Kyle is Giving up his Hot Wheels Ride to Drive His sons car.
The Second Driver was ....
Kenny Irwin*-Kenny was a Great Driver Also His first ride was a sponsored by Tonka Toys and He took over the Robert Yates Racing Texaco from Ernie Irvan, One of the other Reasons why I liked Kenny because he was Dale Jarretts Teammate and another Great Driver although he Didn't win many races he had the ability to Win and wasn't afraid to take risks. During this season since Robert Yates Hired Ricky Rudd to Drive the Texaco car. Team Sabco hired Kenny to drive the Bell South mobility car. On June 19th I had the opportunity to Visit Team Sabco's shop in Mooresville, N.C. (I was down in NC for a my Brothers Wedding). And that Friday I was in shock Because I heard that Kenny Lost his life in the same turn that Adam Petty Lost his life in! I'm not sure what went wrong? One person said that his accelerator got stuck but I don't know what to think because I didn't or want to see this tape of a driver losing his life! Just Like I never wanted to see the late Davey Alison lose his life. My Condolences go out to the Irwin Family and I had the opportunity to see a interview with Kenny's father at his house during the week of the Brickyard 400 at Indiana and I seen How upset he was and I was feeling the same way. So in honor of Kenny I'm leaving my Texaco license plate with your name on my car!
Ernie Irvan-Good luck to you! I know you left racing due to your heath but I want to thank you for all the memories you brought to the sport! and the unforgettable M&Ms Car! if anyone wants to add anything to my page please E-mail me.
