ALFRED ARTHUR HENSON was born 6/20/1888 in Union NJ. He joined the US Army 5/13/1917 and served in WW1 with Company "I" 22nd Infantry division. He was involved in the following battles, engagements, skirmishes and expeditions: St. Mehiel, Meuse, Argonne Defensive Sector. ALFRED was discharged from the Army 11/19/1919

ALFRED married ETHEL LILLIAN NORMAN (see NORMAN PAGE) 11/28/1908 in Jersey City NJ.

ALFRED and "LILLIAN" had 3 children:

Virginia Ethel b. 3/18/1909 NJ d. 8/18/1985 m. George Howard Taylor
Alfred John (known as Jack) b. 1911 NJ d. 11/1967 m. Catherine
Laurence Ernest b. 3/21.1913 d. 11/20/1990 m. 10/12/40 Margaret O'Neill
(Laurence is my Dad!))

ALFRED died 11/17/1969 in Fair Lawn, NJ. Alfred may have remarried more than once after LILLIAN's death. I am not sure of this
