Last night at 11:30, the girls that went to the Hanson concert called and bragged about it. They said the middle one.....ohhh.....what's-his-name smiled at them, especially at Jenna. *uh-huh, sure* All the girls were staying at Jenna's house, and were all imitating me as I was on the phone. They hung up on me. But then Jenna called back and had a sweet voice on and said, "Hey, why don't you come over in the morning about 10:30?" All the other girls were laughing hysterically in the background. I knew they were up to something, but really, I thought, what the heck, better than hanging around the kitchen all day. Well, I'm on my way. I'll wear my sweats that I got on Valentine's Day to cover up my "Mermaid" shirt.
* 10:27 p.m. that night *
Well, today was a total drag. The girls had me over and they were dressed in their coolest clothes, and said, "We're going shopping." I was like, "Oh, man!" They said, "It's awfully warm inside the mall, and outside, so you might as well go without a sweatshirt." I was totally embarrassed, but, rejectingly, took my sweatshirt off. The girls gasped and tried to keep straight faces. Sarah, of course, said, "Where did you get THAT shirt?" Jaylen said, "I just love it! Didn't I give you that for your 4th birthday gift?" The girls giggled. I knew Jaylen's weak side, so, I gave her a taste of her own medicine. I said, "Oh, what is that dark brown spot on your pants?" She about hyproventilated! All the girls were dismayed because one of their own had an imperfect approach. Jaylen was as red as a pepper. The rest of the day, all the girls~except for me~ had a guy who went gaga over them. They kept on running away from me, and I've never beem in as big a mall as this, so, I finally had to page them, 'cause they were my only way home, which was more embarrassing. From now on, my nickname is "Baby Mermaid," with Sabastian (Daria), and Flounder (Adrian) as my friends. I'm never going to go with them anywhere ever, ever again!!!!
