The Knicks won!!!!! Yup, they came back from 18 down to beat the Miami Heat, at the Gah-den, baby! There is justice in the world. Now all they have to do is win game 7 tomorrow, and the world will be a perfect place.
So whats new? Well I should be getting my business cards any day now. Thats right: business cards. Guess that means I'm becoming an important person. Then again....but at least they're free. The guy who's making them up is giving them to me, 'cuz my company has given him so much business the last few months, so he did a nice thing, a "solid", by getting cards made up for me. Remind me to scan it so I can show off.

So I'm finally getting around to updating this thing. And the only reason I'm doing so is because I'm home, doing nothing. Went and saw "High Fidelity" last night, and it was really good, with John Cusack, in a perfect role for him. Yeah, it did remind me of Lloyd Dobler a little, and Lili Taylor being in it made me think about "Say Anything", but its still a very good movie.
And on Thursday, went and saw "Waking the Dead", which wasnt a bad movie, but it has a great music score by Tomandandy. Very eerie, very moody music. And I think I'm still in love with Jennifer Connelly after all these years.
But last week, went and saw "True West", and it just rocked, just rocked. Phillip Seymour Hoffman just may be one of the best actors around today. And John C. Reilly is great, as usual.
As for personal stuff, I got a promotion, so I am now the Accounts Payable Manager, and that means a hefty pay raise, but more hours to be put in at work. But thats okay. It makes me feel kinda grown up now. Well, off to sleep I go. And its only 5:15pm. Whats wrong with me?

December 7th, 1999 @ 11:44am
So its december 7th, a day which will live in infamy. Yup, its the anniversary of Pearl Harbor. And what am i doing in tribute to that event? I'm going to a Knick game! thats right, baby! tonight's the night: john starks comes home! tonight, i'll be in Row ZZ of the Garden to see my boy come home, and this is something i've been looking forward to for a long time. To me, Starks represented everything that was good about being a Knick fan. he worked hard, and he came from nothing. so if you watch the game on TV tonite, keep an eye out for me.
Yesterday, saw "Sweet and Lowdown", and it was woody allen's best movie in years. of course, his last few films had just downright sucked. and sean penn is Da Man. awesome, awesome.
Okay, enough out of me. So as always, please SIGN MY GUESTBOOK!!!!! Ta-Ta!

December 05, 1999
I cant believe I havent done anything with this in about 2 months. Guess I've been too busy. Nope, think again. I'm just a lazy ass when it comes to updating and shite. See? Now i'm saying "shite", because i have been influenced the last few months by English persons.
So since i last wrote, I had a wonderful time in good ol' DisneyWorld. What fun we had. I still cant believe that was exactly 2 months ago. Time sure does fly when you're doing nothing. I really have nothing else to say. Just look around the site. I've updated a little on my Bio Page, I've added more quotes to my "Say Anything" quote page , and I've added some stuff here and there.
Tomorrow night, which is Monday December 6th, Janeane Garofalo is gonna be at Luna Lounge, performing at "eating it". how appropriate, because the last time I saw her there, she practically ate it. She wasnt funny at all. I'm starting to get very disappointed in her. Every time I see her now, she's just not funny. Like a few weeks ago, at "Stella", she went on this rant about Paxil, the new anti-social drug. It was a good idea, but she just didnt carry it all the way through. The only funny thing was her bouncing up and down on stage, announcing that she was very, very drunk. Speaking of "Stella", she'll be there this coming Wednesday nite too. So if you want to see her in action, by all means go see her. Oh, and I should warn you: she wears a thong. Dont ask me how I know, I just do.
So thanks for visiting once again, and dont forget to SIGN MY GUESTBOOK!!!!!Thanks.

so Saturday night was THE night of nights. hold on to your hats, because this is a long ass post.

That night, my friend Genevieve and i went to see Sir Billy Bragg in NYC. okay, he's not knighted yet, but he should be. He turned out to be one of the best concerts i've ever been to. unfortunately, he had to get off at 11pm, because of the theatre's policy of not playing past 11pm, which sucked for me, because when Gen and our friend karen saw him the night before he played about 2 1/2 hours. and his opening act, Freedy Johnston, wasnt too great. i know i tolerated him more than Gen, who had the most painful look i'd ever seen on a human being in my life. my god, i thought she was in labor, seeing from the look on her face. and since we were in the front row, it was kinda rude getting up in the middle of his set, but we just didnt give a shite at that point.
so we watch the concert, where he talks about his "snarky" playing and such. if you've never heard anything by him, by all means do so. the man is a modern-day Renaissance Man. but thats not the good part....
the best part was after the concert. so we're walking away from the theatre, and Genevieve just happens to look, and she sees billy bragg right there, in the lobby. so we run in, desperate for autographs. but he grabs some books, and says he'll be back. so about 15 mins pass by, and the only people left in the lobby now are me, Gen, this dude we met named Mike (bigger stalker than Gen, if thats possible), and a few scattered fans. then this guy comes out, saying that Billy is right behind this door, and that security is so lax right now, we can just walk in. and walk in we did. while Gen is talking to Lu, the guitarist, me and mike make a beeline for Billy, who gladly takes pix with us and signs my video, which is rare nowadays. he even asked me where i got it, i said "The internet", and he said, "yup, you can get anything off the Internet". so we leave him and head back to Gen, who is now talking to Lu, but now she's talking to Martyn, the drummer, who is a dead ringer for billy. and whilst we talk, the tour manager tells everyone to head up to the dressing room. then he points to me, Gen and Mike and says to Lu, "and take these beautiful people with you as well." so somehow. we end up in Billy Bragg's dressing room. at one point, i say to billy, "what the hell am i doing here?" and he says to me (now this is Billy Bragg now), "have a drink and have fun". so i take a Brooklyn Lager, and i just enjoy myself. i talk to Sir Ian McKlagen, the keyboardist. he used to be in The Faces, with Rod stewart and ron wood back in the 70's. Veddy cool guy.
so we proceed to leave. i shook hands with Billy, Lu, Martyn, and Sir Ian. Gen ends up kissing half the room, and we leave.
And that, in a nutshell, was the recap of a great night for me. So after all that wont you indulge me and SIGN MY GUESTBOOK!!!!! Please?

Wow, I cant believe that its been over two months since I wrote anything here. So whats been going on? Well, let me just say that if you're going to be in the New York City area, you must go watch Marc Maron in his new one man show "Jerusalem Syndrome". Its quite possibly one of the funniest acts I've seen by a stand up comic.
Speaking of which, a few of us went to a show called "Eating It" at the Luna Lounge, where we saw the aforementioned Marc, along with Colin Quinn, Todd Barry and the lovely goddess herself, Janeane Garofalo. Okay, you may say to yourself, "Gee, he's really obsessed with Janeane, isnt he?" No, thats not true. I'm just a very big fan. I mean, you wont see me going to another country, like say England, just to see her perform. Okay, so I plan to see her a few more times in the next few months. Is that so wrong?
As for whats new to this website: nothing. Absolutely nothing. I may have more pix to scan tomorrow. Just old baby pix. I know you're dying to see them. So please, before you leave, SIGN THE GUESTBOOK. Thanks and Shalom!

Happy Independence Day! USA! USA! USA! God, I love this country! Where else can someone end up in the hospital without fingers because he held onto a firecracker, to show how macho he was? Only in America, thats where!
So last week, went to the Fleadh Fest in NYC, and it was a great day. Saw Elvis Costello, who played with one of his buds from The Attractions. Saw Lucinda Williams, who absolutely rocked. She's on the road right now, opening for Tom Petty. If you get the chance, you HAVE to see her. Oh, and Petty's not bad either. The only thing I regret: not seeing Hootie and the Blowfish. Awwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!
And in terms of movies, the one movie you MUST watch is "South Park". I know, you're thinking its just the TV show, blown up to the big screen. Boy are you mistaken. Its worth the price of admission just to hear the songs. Believe it or not, its a musical, with great songs too. I wonder if any of these songs will be nominated for an Academy Award. Frankly, I hope it does, so we can see a live perfomance of my personal favorite, "Uncle Fucker".
Well I've added some more pics to my Picture Page . And I've got a new pic on my main home page. Other than that, same ol' shite. Thanks for reading, and dont forget, SIGN MY GUESTBOOK!!!!!

Damnit, I think I'm jinxed. First the great news: I got my tix for "Star Wars". Opening day, baby!!!! And I get to see it right in the heart of New York City!!!! Plus, I get to see it the day after I see Hole in NYC. I'm very much looking forward to seeing them. I was so pissed when they dropped out of the tour with Marilyn Manson, but now I get to go. Yay me!
Also, this past Monday, I got to meet and chat, albeit briefly, with Ben Stiller and Janeane Garofalo. As most of you know, I have a little crush on Janeane, but stupid me, I mostly spoke to Ben, about dolls, if you can believe that. I really am stupid.
The bad news: I'm home with a sprained ankle. And it hurts like a bitch. Okay, site updates: I added a few more quotes to my "Say Anything" Quote Page, and I added a new "Movie Quote O' The Week" as well. So please, SIGN MY GUESTBOOK. Ciao!

Well, its Friday, and here I am, just sitting here, watching "Inside the Actors Studio", with special guest Sean Penn, who is perhaps the best actor alive today. And this coming Monday, in NYC, Janeane Garofalo and Ben Stiller are having a book signing, so I may have more pictures that I will be scanning. Please check back here soon for more details.
Okay, on my "ABOUT ME" page, I've made links to whatever were my favorites. Thats pretty much it with updates to this page. Please SIGN MY GUESTBOOK. Au revoir.

April 19, 1999
So I'm home sick today, and I did absolutely nothing. Well, I did scan some pics of when I went to see Janeane Garofalo on Friday, and some pics of another OWB meeting. So thats basically it. I added new pics to the Picture page, and added some Beth Orton links. Now I just have to add some Billy Bragg ones to satisfy the Brit in me. And please, SIGN MY GUESTBOOK. Thanks.

April 9, 1999 (3 Days Post-Manson)
I cant believe I'm about to write this, but I am: Marilyn Manson rocks! He Kicks Ass! He is THE man in rock and roll right now. That was one of the best concerts I've gone to, and I've been to quite a few. I never thought I'd see myself yelling "We hate love, We Love Hate" at the top of my lungs, but I did. If he ever comes to your town, make sure you go see him. He is truly a sight to behold.
Also, yesterday I got tickets for Hole, who were supposed to play with Manson, before they unbelievably dropped out. They are playing at Roseland in NYC, on May 18th. For those who arent sure when that is, its on Star Wars Eve. So I've already asked for May 19th off, so I can go sit down on line at a theatre to watch it. And to recover from the concert, of course. Well, thats it from me. Please make sure to SIGN MY GUESTBOOK. Bon appetit.

April 3, 1999 (3 Days till Manson)
Added a few more links to my Linkage page. Mainly some links for the great Beth Orton. If you havent picked up her new CD yet, I suggest you go out and get it, STAT. Plus, I also added some stuff to my bio page.
As for today, went and saw "The Matrix" for the second time. I tell ya, that movie rocks. Anyway, please dont forget to SIGN MY GUESTBOOK. Thanks.

March 27, 1999 (10 days to the Manson concert):
Created this new page, so y'all can see how, where, and when I updated certain facets of my page. Still trying to figure out how to use frames, but as you can see, I havent been able to master it yet. But I will. I will.
But I did goto NYC today, and caught the revival of Terrence Malick's "Days Of Heaven", which is a great, great flick. It still numbs my noodle that he took off from filmmaking for twenty years. But he's back, and in great form. That is, if you have seen "The Thin Red Line". Okay, i'm out. And please, dont forget to SIGN MY GUESTBOOK. Thanks.

QUOTE O' THE WEEK Guess the mystery movie quote, updated every week.
