My 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner

Here she is folks, my pride and joy ! This car was a three year project that I probably should have never started. The interior has a new headliner, new carpet, rechromed shifter stick, new pistol grip, shifter boot and ring, new glove box and package tray. I detailed the dash(it was a mess), replaced all of the dash plastic (found at the Englishtown Mopar swap meet !) Installed a AutoMeter Monster tach where the clock would normally be. It then went to Milan auto painters for a paint job then to Falls Automotive for a new vinyl roof. Year One and I became very good friends and I owe a special thanks to Bob Voight out in Wisconsin for his help, parts and patience. Last winter the 383 came out and in went a fresh 440 featuring KB hypereutectic 10.5:1 pistons, fresh set of heads, MP cam 292 degree with .509 lift, Wieand Team G intake, Holley 870 Street Avenger carb and a Centerforce dual friction clutch. The rotating assembly was balanced by Haledon Auto who also did all of the machine work. I used Dynomax Ceramic coated headers, Flowmaster 2 chamber mufflers and 3 inch pipes. One thing about Dynomax headers, they SUCK ! I had to bash the hell out of the pipes to get them to clear the steering box and the collectors point right at the crosmember requiring $100 Flowmaster S-bends. I repeat DO NOT use Dynomax headers for a big block B-Body. I replaced everything in the front end with a PST poly-graphite kit, had the trans rebuilt by Passon Performance and the steering box rebuilt by Steer and Gear. More to come so stay tuned
