FireLight

The warm dancing embers,
Catch thyne eyes.
The dancing sparks,
Flicker and flay like the northern lights.
The sounds of the fire,
Sings its' own song.
Watching and waiting,
All night long,
The fires caress,
The embers welcome embrace,
A joyous glow,
Washes over my face.
The fire dies down,
The ashes grow cold,
Much like in life,
Born young, then grow old.
Alit and a dance, when we are in our youth.
Yet dimmer and colder it burns in the time.
All great light extinguishes.
In time, in faith, in memory,
It can't be warm all the time,
Or can it?

Amber glowing embers,
slowly fade out from sight..
the fires warmth..
dying out...
extinguishing..
The crackling, softening..
ending..
singing its song...
The wood..
breaking, ashing.. ending..
Rainbow...
Blues and whites...
hot hot hot...
down low the colours go..
red..
yellow...,
evervescent orange..
dance fire dance...
like a slave to a Master.
. dance to your special song..
share your heat with..
the world.
