The Core Staff was responsible for running each event, including: Creating storylines; Character Backgrounds; Plot coordination; and behind the scenes Administration. They also play scripted character roles and judge as well. They are a great goup and I couldn't have run CapChron Nights without them :o) Thanks Eileen, Eric, and Jo
Eileen Steward
Eileen joined the staff partway into year three. She was originally a player
character (Dr. Harleen Quinlan), but after she joined the staff she took on
many scripted roles including; Archon Gillian Carmel (who ended up being a Templar
to Sejanus), Francesca of clan Brujah (A Sabbat infiltrator), Fallen Angel/Malevente
Arianara, Prince Elizabeth Covington of clan Ventrue...DC's final Camarilla
Prince. Aside from playing scripts, Eileen took over all the administrative
tasks that surrounded game prep (organizing personal and clan backgrounds, printing
them, and helping get everything ready for the game)... most important, she
kept me sane the last two years of CapChron Nights, and I couldn't have run
CCN without her... Thank you love
Eric Nawrotzki
Eric also started out as a player with Rod Damon of Clan Toreador. Eric
generated more email as a player than any five other players combined...so we
decided the easiest way to channel that energy was to make him a part of our
staff, and he has continued being our "energy battery" ever since.
When the rest of us would lose drive from time to time, it was Eric who got
us "jump started" again. He also played many scripts for us, including;
Fahzil of Clan Setite, Billy Clanton of Clan Brujah, The Game of Clan Brujah,
though he will most likely be remembered as the former Prince of DC, Alec deWinter
of Clan Toreador. Thanks Eric, couldn't have done it without you.
JoAnne Treadwell
Our newest addition was a player for some time before she joined the
staff. She was best known for playing Dr. Sara Connolly of Clan Malkavian (later
Malkavian-antitrubu). After joining the staff she also became our Archon, Julie
Meadows of Clan Gangrel. Jo's gift to us was being able to see things from a
fresh and honest perspective that helped us make some hard plot decisions. Thank
you Jo, you helped far more than you could have imagined.
Samuel Stember
That's just me.... As head Storyteller I played lots of scripted characters,
from the early days of year one with Prince Marcus Vitel, who became Justicar
Sejanus, who became Archbishop Sejanjus (first thought to be Ventrue and then
discovered to be Cappadocian). I also was playing Lord Darrien Alexander Tilton
of Clan Ventrue, and Lord Ivan "Vanya" Tatanovitch of Clan Tremere.
Although I maintained the Character Databases and did all the City backgrounds
and editing myself, I never could have run CCN without the help of all my staff,
past and present.
We had a number of support staff who helped us script and judge these events.
-Scripts-
These support staff members help with scripted roles.
Nikki Brook
Nikki was around from the early days of CCN, and although she is best known
for her regular character, Christienya Nightwing of clan Tremere (later Tremere-antitribu),
but she also plays a scripted character for us. This was Shandra, Setite Exotic
Dancer. She also was very helpful as a "sounding board" from time
to time... thanks Neitcha...
Mike Durange
Mike was part of the original staff of Capitol Chronicles and later became
a player and Script after the birth of his second child. I think I can safely
say that there were many times over the first three years that "difficult"
situations were saved by Mike's cool demeanor and level headed way of looking
at things. I was sorry to see him leave as staff, but with the growing responsibilites
of fatherhood, I could hardly blame him ~smile~, but I was happy he kept playing
and judging for us. He played many roles over the years, such as Archon Wyatt
"Marshal" Earp of clan Ventrue, Marco of clan Brujah, revealed Dragon,
Morgan, and Lord Serafin Ramirez of clan Malkavian. Thank you Mike, without
you I doubt CCN would have made it past year Two :o)
Karen Quick
Karen recently took over the role of Satana...the elusive Caitiff elder
who has been in the city for well over a decade, but has been seen by few. She
owns and runs the exotic club, Lucifers Fallen, in the South East of DC. Karen
also played Violetta of Clan Toreador as a regular character. Thanks Karen,
you brought a nice breath of fresh air to CCN...thank you?
-Judges-
These guys were regular players who volunteered game time to help judge
and mediate non-plot oriented challenges: Thanks guys, couldn't have done it
without you : )
Mike Durange, Rich Flynn, Tim Moyer
Special Note
Maritza DiSciullo
Maritza was the last of the "original staff" that helped me start
up Capitol Chronicles. Best known for playing ex-Prince Marina Griffin of clan
Ventrue, she retiered from the CapChron staff towards the end of year three,
and I wanted to personally thank her for all her hard work and support over
the years. In many ways, it was her initial pushing that got me motivated to
get the game off the ground. She also was the one who found our most used site,
the Van Wickle House, which we all enjoyed quite a bit. It is my hope that her
life in Denver is everything she wants it to be.
Bill Jessop
Bill has helped us many times over the years, both as staff and as a script.
Best known for his Ventue Bolton Montgomery, Bill continued on in CapChron as
a regular player running his character Baron Gerhard von Mollendorf of Clan
Tremere.. Bill set the standard for chronicle writing when he was a player,
and I knew he would bring a lot to us as staff. Thanks Bill, I truly appreciated
everything you did to help CapChron run, in more ways than one... :o)
Jen Kobylarz and Tony Tait
Jen and Tony both started out as avid Capitol Chronicles players, then made
the step to eventually become members of our staff. They have helped us run
CapChron for some time now, and there are few players who didn't feel that Jen
breathed the "life" into Clans Gangrel and Ravnos, while Tony was
the only one I trusted to "take on" the Cappadocians, who were my
brain child, when he came to the staff, and he has helped keep them strongly
in all our storylines. Jen and Tony recently got married and retired from the
staff, but they continued on as players and I'm truly glad they stayed a vibrant
part of the CCN family up until the end.
Non-Playing Ex Staff
There were a few staff members that left CapChron when they left the staff,
and although I missed having them around, I'm pleased that they all stayed close
friends. Some of them were there from day one, like Stephen, and though some
joined later on, they all were a vital part of Capitol Chronicles; To Stephen
Buonocore, Keith Buonocore, Pauline Milano, and Christian Alipounarian. Thank
you all guys, you were a fantastic help...
