The Big Band Association Began in 1969 as Part of the continuing education program of the Massapequa School Districts Adult Education Program.It has attracted many talented jazz and former big band musicians,some of whom had played with the original band leaders of the forties,which of whom have set the foundation of excellence in the band.
They began to attract fans,and has grow to become the finest dance band of the Long Island,and New York Metropolitan area.
The Band has performed for weddings,country clubs
many charity fund raising dinner dances.
Church Outdoor festivals.and Private parties.
