I truly wish You had come to me, and shown me in full light

With journey’s turns, its ups and downs, You move from side to side

If not in the brilliance of Your light, in darkness will I hide.

So show Your fullness symbolic of the love You have for me

Make right Your way, show clear Your path, the One I need to see

But You’re content to hide from me, show glimpses from above,

The fullness of Your majesty, the wonders of Your love.

In life’s darkest, deep despair, my heart looks up to You

With firm conviction will I stand and to Your heart be true

Just look above, it’s brightness and it’s fullness, to feel You near

Knowing that is comforting, Your light shines on my face
