Biography

Corey J. Willis is an artist

and teacher who resides in downtown Philadelphia.


His recent paintings are featured at the

Bridgette Mayer Gallery in Washington Square,

a neighborhood of Philadelphia.


Corey recently had one of his paintings,

Cabin Fever, acquired by the Woodmere Art Museum

for its permanent collection.

Cabin Fever was selected for the exhibition,

Follow that Line, in the summer of 1998.




The teaching machine was on display at

the Berman Museum of Art at Ursinus College

in the summer of 1999.

Cabin Fever was selected for the exhibition Talking Heads,

at the Woodmere Art Museum in the summer of 1999.


Corey's solo show, Jumping Through Hoops,

was in April of 2002

at the Bridgette Mayer Gallery at 709 Walnut Street.

His paintings on paper reflect his satirical view

of the male identity in the work force.

Corey has been teaching Art at

the Charter High School for Architecture and Design
