SUNDAY NIGHT HEAT (8/1)
Edge defeated Meat (w/PMS) with the Downward Spiral. Christian and Gangrel looked onto Edge from the crowd. In the match itself, Meat, at one point, went for the Meat Grinder, but Edge countered. He later took Meat down with a spear, after Meat came off the top rope and hit the finisher for the win. Following the match, Terri Runnels scolded Meat, but with Meat getting on his knees and kissing Runnels' feet, everything turned out fine for him.
MONDAY NIGHT RAW (8/2)
In a Bloodbath Match, Edge defeated Gangrel. A bucket of blood was placed on a big box on the outside of the ring. Gangrel dominated Edge and was onto every maneuver Edge executed. Gangrel later brought in a chair, which Edge ended up kicking into the face of Gangrel, but Gangrel was once again back on top. Edge later went for the spear, but ended up ramming into the chair Gangrel was holding. Gangrel then nailed Egde with the Implant DDT. He went for the bucket of blood, at which point the lights went off. When they returned, Gangrel was covered in blood, with Christian standing next to him, obviously the one who poured the liquid. Edge automatically took the win. Christian walked in the ring and hugged Edge, meaning they were officially a team. They exited through the crowd. They had to do that spot twice where they hugged and exited through the crowd for an unknown reason.
