"Brick" off of the album "Whatever and Ever, Amen" by Ben Fold's Five seems to me a great curiosity. I personally think it is the best song on the album, but everyone I have asked absolutely hates, loathes and despises the song as if it were the worst song ever written. Why is this? They all hate it, but no one seems willing to say why. The only person to ever offer an explanation said he didn't like it because it was a "sad song". Bah :-p
