As I said previously, my name is Heather. Click here to see my picture. My home is in South Jersey, but I go to school at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. I'm currently in my sophomore year, GO TRIBE!
On January 19, 2000, a tragedy occurred in my life. My best friend and current boyfriend, John, was killed in a college dorm fire. He was only 18, and we had been together for about a year. He was my life, and I loved him with all of my heart. Now two years later, I am straightening out my life. I think of John often, and he is able to bring a smile to my face, even in hard times. This tragedy has taught me many, many things, like "Don't take people or things for granted, you never know how soon they may be taken away." I will always love John. He was an amazing person and he holds a special place in my heart forever.
Other than being a poor college student, I am a waitress at Applebee's Neighborhood Bar & Grill in Williamsburg. I used to serve in Vineland, but I'm not sure if I will go back again this summer. I also work at Rita's Water Ice - be cool, eat a rita's!
I have lots of hobbies - I enjoy going out & having fun with my girls, bein' sneaky and shady lol, going to concerts, playing softball, dancing, cross country, crew (rowing), talking on the phone, going to the movies ;-) and the mall, making and listening to music, giving Kim bruises (LoL), sucking at guitar :-) reading, driving around aimlessly, and just chillin with my friends.
****Ok so those were my old hobbies...now that I'm in college here is a current list: causing trouble with my girls, being on AIM 24-7, watching Friends, Will & Grace, and ER (Thursday Primetime ROCKS), learning to not suck at electric guitar, walking, staying up til at least 1 and sleeping til 8 or 9:30, Ultimate Frisbee, partying at Karbear's or D-phi, and just overall having a great time!
In the summer I love going to the beach and getting a nice tan!!
I enjoy listening to all kinds of music. Some of my favorites are: Vertical Horizon, Nine Days, Matchbox Twenty, BNL, Sinatra, Live, Collective Soul, Lit, Metallica, Aerosmith, Guns 'N Roses, Boston, Goo Goo Dolls, Fastball, No Doubt, and many others.
I'd have to say my alltime favorite movies are Se7en, Memento, Hannibal, Silence of the Lambs, Fight Club, American Beauty (I'm not twisted Hiram!), Coyote Ugly & Whipped ;) some other favs are The Ring, Proof of Life, The Family Man, The Bone Collector, Austin Powers & Austin Powers 2 (the new one is funny as hell), Armageddon (I saw it twice in 5 days and it kicked a$$ both times!), Night at The Roxbury, 6th Sense, The Faculty, Urban Legends, all the Halloween movies, Dante's Peak, Titanic (kinda) and many other disaster and suspense movies. I like scary movies...I see dead people!
I like to watch Friends, Will & Grace, CSI, ER, The X-Files (reruns), Roswell, Road Rules, Party of 5 - well now it's over :(, Forensic Files, The Operation, and I Love Lucy.
College = eternal internet connection.
I have been playing the alto saxophone since 5th grade. I don't currently play at W&M but maybe someday Jay will convince me to jam.
