2000 Howell Elks Easter Egg Hunt
On April 16th. 2000, the Youth Activities Committee sponsored the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Approximately 36 kids participated, the ages ranged from 1 to 13 years old. In addition, to hunting for Easter Eggs stuffed with goodies, the children were entertained by the Easter Bunny and were served cupcakes, ice cream, and cold drinks and stuffed Easter bunnies were raffled as door prizes. Everyone, children and adults alike, seemed to have a great time and we hope to see you next year.
I would like to thank all who helped by cooking cupcakes. Thanks to Joe Melillo for donating the stuffed animals and Lou Faggiana for donating the chocolate bunnies. Thanks to Marge Semersky, Austin McCabe, Heather Delisky, and Erica and Darlene Gusk for all their help running the event. Special thanks to Nicole and Alexa for making sure the Easter Bunny’s visit went smoothly, to Kelly for stuffing all the Easter Eggs and to Kathy, for running around making sure the Easter Bunny was properly attired and returned home in time to rest up for Easter. Finally, thanks to the clean up crew, PER Sean Parks, Charlie Smith, and Nick Semersky.
