  • Hello, and welcome! This is my first website, so please be lenient about my errors... Anyway, I've always loved video games, especially 'Legend of Zelda' ones. From my 6th birthday (when I was given my very first game- 'The Legend of Zelda') on, I've been seriously hooked! ( Actually, I didn't start playing by myself until I was nine or so, I just 'coached' my mom.) And then there was that fateful day...soon after christmas in sixth grade, I got seriously stuck in Link to the Past, so I bought a hint guide. That thing, I swear--it changed my life forever! I admired the writing, the information, and the general usefulness of it. So, of course, I HAD to get Zelda 64 as soon as it came out! Well, much to my dismay, I got stuck (as one inevitably does) so badly that I needed help. I went online, and was shocked at the lack of websites that actually had decent info about the game! So I made a promise to myself- as soon as I beat the game, I'd learn how to put up a webpage and include all of those neat little side quests, too. I didn't want anybody to miss out on such a great game! Therefore, here it is!

This page is in three parts- a generalized walkthrough of the game (what to do and when to do it) with specialized dungeon info for those really hard spots, some really fun tricks you can do and a few of my own personal gameplay suggestions, and, of course, optional side quests. Oh, and I'll certainly add some links, too! And a few 'Links'... oh god, I'm getting bad..

One last little thing before I lead you on your quest- a little anectode to keep you thinking for awhile. Last year, I bought a 'Final Fantasy VII' hint guide (which I hope to be able to emulate on my sites eventually). Although it's not my usual practice, I read the author's note in the front (but I do have a life, thank-you-very-much.). It was really cool-he basically said that he'd go into detail on all of the parts of the game, but would not reveal the plot at all. I was really happy that he did this because the plot wouldn't have been nearly as amazing to me had I not encountered it in context. Therefore, keeping in the practice of probably the best hint guide I've ever bought, I'll include as much information as I can without giving away any of the storyline. Just like your mother probably tells you- 'You might not like it that much, but it's for your own good'. And can I say, 'You'll thank me for it someday?' Just a little point to ponder! All in all, no matter what, enjoy the game.

Oh, and just one more note.... doesn't this background look just like the wall pattern in the fourth palace in Zelda II-The Adventure of Link? Wicked, isn't it!

This page is dedicated to my boo (my mother), who taught me how to play 'Zelda'. And the lovely person who let me make it on her new iMac-the only OS that anyone should use, might I add.
