hmmm...another scattered review...
i stood right to the left (make sense? - probably not - oh well) of the sound stage :):) best spot in the house besides the mezz if you ask me
this was the cast i had wanted to see ever since i first saw Chad's Roger:)

Chad and Jim had good Mark-Roger chemistry and both did a really good job (though Chad missed a few lines - must be wierd playing opposite 'yourself') and it was lots of fun:) Chad's Another Day with Marcy is honestly my new favorite part of the show (played by Chad and Marcy of course - their harmony is beautiful!) What You Own was well choreographed (though some claim over choreographed i think it works well 'cause you feel like Mark and Roger have some sort of connection) and sounded GREAT!
I liked Tamara's Maureen more this time - she seemed to have much better chemistry with Mark and i liked her and Kenna
Kenna is SO much fun to watch - her voice might not be AS amazing as some of the other divas i've seen play Joanne but that doens't mean that it's lacking at all - and her and Tamara make a good team. The Tango was perfection too:) Calvin's Collins gives a really strong feel of his friendship with Mark and Roger - his is very warm. Jacques is Jacques - as consistent as they are both Jim and Jacques are constantly getting better and better and better - the sky isn't even the limit it seems! All around a very enjoyable cast imho:) *and Melissa V. got to see the show!!!
Chad's Roger sounded a bit better from the mezz...but hey - doesn't EVERYTHING?:) Jai's Angel is sweet and absolutely great - definitely one of my favorites!! What can i say? This was in many ways a dream cast of mine - and they were amazing (they always are tho:)!
I have seen some of these actors on this stage for over a year and in some magical way they don't seem to be tired of what they are doing - especially Jim. He brings ALL this energy on stage with him every time i see him - and puts it all into the show. I love the music in this show above anything but somehow the energy of the cast is right up there with the strength of the music. Maybe if i could do what they do every night i would be less in awe - i don't know. But to come in with that much energy and do the same thing again and again and again is absolutely amazing to me.
And finally the semester is over...with another one just rounding the corner;) take some energy and get on with the race...
*oh - and i finally got to see those infamous overalls;)
