Chapter 2

"Look at that girl," Taylor exclaimed. "That must be Tara," Zac said thrilled. "Of course it is you reject, its the only girl," Taylor said then smacked him on his head. Then Diane walked in and said,"get out of that window, that is extremely rude to spy on them." As she said this the doorbell rang. Taylor and Zac ran into the livingroom, they wanted to try to look cool and unexcited. Ike laughed and stood their while his mother opened the door . Mike grabbed Diane's hand and the luggage and raced out the door saying "hurry were going to be late." Sorry but you guys will have to introduce yourselves. Here is some money for food eat teakeout or something. On the way down the driveway Mike yelled buy to Tara. "No teasing your sister, Danny and John. They started laughing. Tara then gave them a serious look that stopped the boys from laughing. "C'mon in we have N64." said Ike "Cool" said Danny and John at the same time,as they walked into the living room. "Taylor and Zac this is Danny, Tara, and John. After they were done introducing themselves Zac and John went up into his room to make obscence calls to girls. "Me and Tara are going to my room," said Taylor happily. But Danny and Ike were so into the game they did not hear a word Taylor had said. Tara and Taylor then went up to his room to listen to CD's. In a little while it got boring so they started talking. "Do you have a boyfriend Taylor asked? "No, not anymore! The last guy I dated was not really my type." "What is your type?" "Guys with long hair, blue or hazel eyes." "Guys like me?" said Taylor? When Taylor said this Tara's mouth fell to the floor. She was about to answer him and say yes but the door opens and Zac said it was dinner time. Taylor was ready to kill him. He was dying to hear her response. Tara got up and walked out of Taylor's room. Zac told her, "we are having fried worms" He was the kind of guy who always liked to tell jokes. Tara thought that Zac was very immature for telling jokes all the time but she also liked it about him. Danny ordered three large pizzas. One with cheese for the three youngest Hansons. For the rest of them he ordered two peperonni pizzas. When the pizza guy got here he said the bill is twentty dollars. Ike handed him twenty and shut the door. The pizza guy rang the bell and said "where is the tip?" Ike handed him gum he was chewing and then the guy left furious. Then everyone went into the dining room and sat down. Jessica put Mackenzie in his highchair, and then sat down next to him. Avery sat down next to her, she was always hanging around Jess. Zac sat next to John and Ike sat next to Danny. Taylor sat next to Tara which made Zac get jelous and angry. He had a major crush on Tara. After dinner the three young kids had a shower and went to bed. It was 9:00 and they were very tired. The rest of them went into Ikes room and watched a Harrison Ford video. Around 11:30, Zac, had fallen asleep along with, John, so Ike and Danny carried them to Zac's room. Zac had bunkbeds so they slept there. At 1:30am Tara got sleepy so did Taylor they walked out of the room. Tara then purposley fell and said she twisted her ankle so Taylor carried her to the geust room and put her under the covers and kissed her on the cheek goodnight. Tara fell asleep wondering if Taylor really did like her. She thought that she liked him and wanted to go out with him. She liked Zac but he was way to young for her. After Taylor, left her room, he went back to Ike's room and they were fast asleep. So he pulled out the video and went to bed. He laid there with his heart rushing and thinking if he should make a move tommorow or wait for her to. He fell asleep without making a decision. Tara woke up at 3:30 shivering. So she left her room. There were no lights on, so she turned one on hoping that it would not disturb anyone and wake them up. She had no idea which room was which. She opened the door that was the bathroom. Next there was Zac's room. She was watching him and thinking how cute he looked sleeping. The light woke up Taylor and he tapped Tara on her left shoulder while he was rubbing his eyes. She jumped out of her skin from fright. "Its okay," said Taylor. "I was just trying to find another blanket in the hall closet cause I was cold," said Tara. "That room is cold all year long," said Taylor. "I would let you sleep in my parent's room but Jessica is sleeping there. You can sleep in my room I have a double size bed. "I don't know, but i guess it won't hurt," stuttered Tara. They then went into Taylor's room. They both laid in his bed for an hour of watching HBO. Tara then fell asleep facing Taylor. He fell asleep in confusion about whether Tara likes him or not.
