Ok. This was Kevin Smith's third movie, and my personal favorite. It was a movie about 2 comic book artists Holden McNeil (Ben Affleck) and Banky Edwards (Jason Lee). They produce a comic known as Bluntman and Chronic based on Jay and Silent Bob (the actors mentioned on the mallrats page.) They have a friend named Hooper who is REALLY gay and he also draws a pro-black comic named Hooper X. They attend a comic convention, and Holden meets Alyssa Jones (Joey Lauren Adams), a beautiful girl who Holden thinks has the hots for him. After a throaty rendition of some song onstage at a homosexual club, she reveals that she is a lesbian and all hell breaks loose. Holden learns to deal with her sexuality, and they become good friends. However, Holden still holds a desire for her, and he finally reveals this to her. She gets REALLY pissed off, but then storms back after realizing that she loves him too. After a while, Banky gets pissed off or jealous or something, and he tells Holden about this multiple partner experience he heard she had with Cohee Lundin, an old high school friend. THEN he gets pissed about her past, and he eventually suggests a threesome with Banky would calm everything down. She storms out, her final line is something like this: "I love you. (slap) But I'm not your whore."
