Mallrats was Kevin's second movie. Released in 1994, it starred skateboarder Jason Lee as Brodie Bruce and Jeremy London as T.S. Quint, the main characters. The two get dumped by their respective girlfriends, and decide to hit the local mall since they have nothing better to do. Brandi Svenning, T.S.'s girlfriend, has a budding television producer for a father, and when T.S. and Brodie find out that Brandi's father's show will be broadcasted from the mall they are in, they hire the help of two very well known people, Jay (Jason Mewes) and Silent Bob (Kevin Smith himself) to trash the stage. They try unsucessfully to knock it down twice, the consequences being nearly the same: in the first attempt Silent Bob goes through the western style doors into a girl's changing room, and in the other he smashes through a wall. LaFours, the most dreaded secutiry guard in the business, 127 captures, ALL convicted, and he's even got two kills to boot. Well, THAT Lafours plants some...how shall i say...weed on T.S.'s person and they get kicked out of the mall and are taken away by the police. Jay and Silent Bob rush to the rescue with vibrating fingers, blow up dolls, and grappling hoooks. The show starts with T.S. and Brodie as two of the suitors because they got two of the real suitors stoned. (acutally, it was Jay's work and weed...so they like helped mentally or something.) So they reconcile, and Brodie shows some incriminating evidence against a mall worker who is now dating his girlfriend. This evidence consisted of a tape that showed him having sex with a 15 year old for a book that she is writing entitled "Boregasm", and he gets thrown in jail for pedophility. Oh yeah, he fits right in because he LOVES to do people up the pooper. The movie ends. If you think the story is good, go to your local video store and rent it. You'll enjoy the comedy and shit.
