Niniane's Place in The Forever King
Niniane in The Forever King by Molly Cochran and Warren Murphy

The Forever King

In The Forever King Niniane goes by Nimue.

The Forever King is about all of these people who travel back and forth in time in order to find the Holy Grail. In the middle, they're stuck in the Arthurian time, which is where Nimue comes in. She's this beautiful, although ferral, young woman who is picked up by a man who wants to use her to regain the grail. You see, Merlin has it, but he wants it. So, he cleans her up, dresses her up, teaches her how to be civilized, and sends her to Merlin to seduce him, without Nimue really knowing what's going on. Nimue arrives and Merlin takes care of her, more as a fatherly figure, thank anything else. She helps him to beat the bad guys, becomes good friends with Arthur, and eventually even seals the dying Merlin up in a crystal cave.
