Niniane's Place in the Book of Mordred by Peter Hanratty
Niniane in Merlin's Wood

I'm highly amused by Nimue (Niniane) in this book. She's tremendously sexy (everyone who sees her falls in lust with her), knows everything, and is vicious. Her first scene has her decapitate a creature that is teasing her and yelling at another group of them. I don't get the feeling that the character is evil, she's just...well, mean. It's an intersting story, too, following Mordred from when he's very young to when he's just about to find out that Arthur's his father.
