Directions from Route 78 East, from within Pennsylvania

If you're traveling on Route 78 East, and you are west of Allentown, there are two main arteries which lead to New Jersey - both will get you here. This set of directions follows Interstate Route 78, which is all major highway driving and minimal interchanges. Be aware that as of Summer, 1999, there will be a construction area between the Hellertown and Easton exits on Route 78, where the interchange for the extention of Route 33 will connect.

If you're traveling from points west of Allentown, and wish to take Route 78 East into NJ, stay in the left lanes to connect with 78 East. Staying in the right-most lanes will connect you with Route 22 East.
Stay on Route 78 East until you get to the Easton, PA exit, which is the last exit before going into NJ.
After exiting and coming to the stop sign, turn left and cross over Route 78.
Go straight about 1/4 mile to the stop sign and bear right. (This is a Y intersection)
Continue straight about 1/2 mile to the next stop sign and bear left, towards downtown Easton.
Continue straight down the hill and you will go to the third traffic light (which are very close together) and turn right onto Larry Holmes Drive.
Follow Larry Holmes Drive to the next traffic light and turn right to cross the bridge into New Jersey.
After crossing the bridge, turn right at the next traffic light onto South Main Street.
Just beyond the next traffic light, you'll cross a black iron bridge.
Beyond the bridge, the road bends to the left and Joe's Steak Shop will be on the right. Turn left and proceed through the parking lot next to the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home.
At the rear of the parking lot turn right. The museum is the green building straight ahead.
