In May, 20 members contributed 354 manhours. These were given for grounds maintenance, cleanup of the building, painting, preparation, and operation of the Open House, C&S work, full size rolling stock restoration. Work continues on the restoration of the CNJ caboose, particularly on the north side, as the ravages of time and weather have taken their toll.

The C&S work crew have been grading and installing a passing siding adjacent to the passenger platform. Thanks go out to all volunteers who give of their time to improve our operations.

As you read this newsletter, we will have completed our July 15 Open House with some side attractions planned. Keep in mind our final event of the season, the Open House scheduled for Sunday September 30. The second annual PRRH picnic will be held at Hugh Moore Canal Park in South Easton on Sunday September 9,

The meat and cheese tray for this month's meeting is donated by Tom Marzuoli and the donuts are being provided by John Boner.

We wish also to thank John Boner for donating a can of paint in the restoration effort for the caboose.

Please keep in your thoughts and prayers Bob Kirkpatrick who has been under the weather recently. We hope to have you back soon, Bob

See you all soon.
